I would smile, wraps my arms around you and then lead you to the fire where we could enjoy the rest of the weekend together - simply admiring what is around while in each others company, drinking wine, dancing and feeling comfort.

If you knocked on my door today...
 

You would be just in time to sample my shortbread made in my thistle mould. Your choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I then might recruit you to help me wrap and package the shortbread ready to be delivered to my friends.

you would see me getting ready to watch a movie.

I would invite you in, kill you with kindness, and feed you:linecook:

You would be invited inside to help us finish the Christmas tree and have a cup of hot chocolate.

You would be invited in and have some alcoholic beverages and watch horror movies.

You would be invited in for good company and food and we could play board games or watch moves on cable or DVDs that I have it would be your choice.

You'd find me and Skippy piled up in the coma chair watching the Cowboys vs Redskins. Me in my sweats and aFreshly bathed Skippy in his let it snow shirt and his diaper.

I'd tell you to hurry and get your ass in here and shut the damn door. IT"S COLD OUTSIDE. LOL

ps. you'd find me in my sweats and t-shirt, cat curled up on couch above my head, and watching the Cowboys Vs Redskins game and smiling at the end of the 1st quarter into the 2nd. :)

I'd invite you in for warm cozy atmosphere and food to eat and to play board games or to watch something good on tv, being it's raining outside.

I would be rather pleased if you shown up at my door. As I have wanted to meet you for years. I would invite you in and make you an amazing cup of British black tea. I would also offer you dinner as it is dinner time now.

I'd respond with "hello there..." It would be late, the door would be slightly ajar and my form would be leaning against the frame. You'd look at me with a devilish grin, no words spoken. One hand lifting a bag obviously showing you brought take out. Hearing a gruff voice responding "Right back at ya" the door would swing open, welcoming you within. Hours later, cartons of take out empty. We'd be on the sofa fast asleep, having enjoyed an all night conversation fest.

The almighty question being, whose making the coffee in the morning.

"You're just in time"
I'd hand you a full cooler and the leash to one of the pups...
"Hope you brought your sunscreen. We're headed to the beach!"

My look of shock would quickly turn to a grin. As I grabbed my coat I would try to kick the skeletons back into the closet. Taking your arm and hustling you down the steps I would glance back over my shoulder hoping you don't hear the fingernails scratching on the inside of my front door. Coughing, "Now, I know this great little place just around the corner..."
