Holy hell this has taken me down memory lane!! So many fond memories... It's ashame most kids of today are clueless as to the hands on kind of fun kids had back in the day. I use to also love playing yard games... freeze tag, kick the can, hide and seek, etc.

P.S. I had heard the klackers were discontinued because they shattered and the glass got in someone's eye. I sucked at them but my sister could go to town on those things :)

One year my Dad made me one out of hay bails. It was probably 5' tall (though it felt like 8' at that age) and had a hall entrance and he even put a few inside as seats and a bed. I spent a fun summer in it.

My Mom would make blanket forts all the time and we would play and giggle in them for hours.
