having a nice night out with my sister
making new friends while out with friends being told I am pretty and looked really good when I went out last night being told I lost another 6 lbs when I was at the Drs loving the accidental purple hair ....its striking.... being asked out...turning them down but making a friend out of them having my baby turn 27 tomorrow...what a wonderful gift she has been to me feeling happy again after a long long dark time.... |

...having a daughter who has learned valuable lessons and has come out on the other side a better woman......strong, loving, funny, responsible, together and beautiful on the inside, as well as the outside. She makes me laugh and she touches my soul. And I am one proud Mom. |

A new dog!
Yes....I caved....I have been thinking about what it would be like after surgery when I would be all alone without Story. It just wasnt going to be the same. I could NEVER replace that beautiful soul but I also knew how lonely I would be. So I started looking...and found this gorgeous yorkie chihuahua mix. He is 3 years old and his family needed to rehome him because they had a 10 year old retriever who was ailing and he needed to be an only dog at this point in his life. My little guy is perfect for me..smaller, loves to travel...housebroken to perfection...in perfect health and young. Many many years to go with him. So much easier to take care of. I really dont care for the name they gave him so I am thinking of a new one. Mr Personality he is! HUGE personality! I am SO in love with him already! Already he is breaking thru the crumbs of depression leftovers and making me giggling and laugh with his playfulness! |
My first week as the exutive chef where I work,I waited a long time to get hear...how ever so humble a place it may be.

having such great friends!!!
truly feeling cared about and respected.... finding common ground with said friends... being told "the reality" of things by friends that care so much for me that they aren't afraid to tell me how things are, their view of things or the real truth of things....being able to "see" their points as valid and how they are coming from a loving, supportive, affectionate place - even if the truth hurts a little.... Happiness is.... knowing, truly knowing what it feels like to be the recipient of someone's kind, loving, supportive friendship and the confidence that such a feeling gives me...and not "second guessing" their intentions or "do they have another agenda" or "are they just using me" or "gee, this person is a taker, I'm the only one spending energy on keeping this friendship going".., etc, etc.... having that CONFIDENCE and Secure feeling replaces all that "second guessing" and is so much more fulfilling. Happiness is.... not feeling an "empty spot".... Happiness is....having an "empty tank" go to a "full tank" after having a heart-felt, long overdue conversation filled with all kinds of TRUTHS and REALITIES and being able to finally discuss many things I'm passionate about, yet sometimes feel closed in or neglected and disrespected about. |

New Love
Happiness is my new love. I met her this morning at the market. I've heard about love at first sight. It's true. I am in love. :fastdraq:
There she was mixed in with the crowd, all pretty in that bight yellow, standing out among all the others. We got home and I found out the truth. She's soft and gentle, yet can be roughed up and pushed hard as I want. I can move her up and down and all around and she is ready for more, and just shakes it off. I took her right into the bedroom, removed her outer cover. Then she glided across the table, slid along the headboard and up and down the bedposts. I am in love with my new Swiffer 360. |
