Getting to know you
 

I drink my ice tea straight without sweeteners or ice just cold.

I like to photograph snakes and will often take off running to give chase for a photo. I do not have non-domestic animals as pets.

I like to photograph all kinds of wildlife.

Oh, more than one sorry Ms. Dee.

I'm a desert girl. I love monsoons and the smell of dust.

I know how to shoot an old school, medium format film camera. It's so old that it doesn't even use batteries -- it operates 100% manually :)

I used to have a pet snake. She was lovely, and liked to play.

I do not like music past the 80s. Anything 90s or beyond, I click off unless its Tracy Chapman. Or Adele. (I do like real old time rock and roll but I almost never listen to it)

I have been verbally attacked for saying I would prefer not to listen to music in the car.

At home, I almost never listen to music. And when I do, its Tracy Chapman. Or maybe Adele or Bob Dylan.

On FB I click to block videos if music accompanies them. It ruins them for me.

And...I am tired of being told I am a freak for not liking music like most of the world. It doesnt make me a bad person. I am not crippled. I just dont like music, like some people dont like to dance. :|

I got several reps that questioned my southern roots.

I just don't like tea! :blush:

While I drink primarily tea, I can't stand coffee so let the berating begin.

I hate brussel sprouts, but I will eat them if they are fried (I will eat many fried vegetables since fried is one of my food groups, along with fresh frozen and free).

I listen to a lot of podcasts. Most have to do with the news, pop culture and storytelling. This has virtually taken the place of all reading . . . and I used to read a _lot_.

I love pie. I choose pie over cake everytime. I even request a birthday pie from my loved ones.

Does anyone want to make me a pie? I can trade brisket.

Are you also left handed? I ask because I am a southpaw and also have a tendency to read magazine from back to front.

I also ask for pie instead of cake.

Love my veggies especially asparagus and okra.

I read and write scientific reports everyday.

I love reading environmenal studies.

I have a tattoo on my back of a goddess under the moon with seven Celtic "swirls" around her, because I am matrilinearly seventh generation Irish.

I am an avid reader and would rather read than watch TV or listen to music.

I think maybe in another life I was a fisherman, a mermaid, lived on the beach, whatever, because I love anything related to the beach lifestyle.

You make up for me. I like looking at the water but can't stand being in it or in the sand. It's a texture thing...sand and salt are so abrasive.

About 30 minutes after I wake up and my brain hits all cylinders I love to lay in bed and chat with my partner (when I have one).

I dislike coffee.... it's icky

I am with you friend, I love the water so much that I made a career of it.
