I am nervously awaiting my grade for the descriptive analysis plan I submitted last week. It's that "I want to know what I got but I don't want to know yet" kind of feeling. This paper was rough.

I forgot the Oilers vs. Canucks game was tonight. Though, I'm glad I didn't watch it. That would have been a painful game to watch. 6-0. Ouch.

I'm very upset over the way the Republican controlled Senate Judiciary Committee is treating the women who have come forward to testify publicly about Kava-Not's seriously bad behaviors and trying to shove this asshole upon the American Justice System for years to come: The betrayal, pettiness and overall scumbaggery of the GOP is sickening, maddening and an huge red flag about the general attitude and conduct of the GOP political party.

On my mind if the fact if anything, those idiots on that committee, SHOULD of learned from the whole Anita Hill debacle is that they should WELCOME anyone and everyone to come in front of them INSTEAD of trying to stifle their voices and concerns!

Orin Hatch was on the original committee and unfortunately that old bastard is on this one! It's clear by the views he's already expressed (paraphrasing) "I think she's mistaken" when he hasn't even had the decency to hear her testimony yet, leads me to believe Dr. Ford will fare as well as Ms Hill did!

I am going to add the word "scummery" to My vocab. It seems to fit just right sometimes.

However, I am not happy that you have to deal with it all. A shame that is.

What's on my mind all the time lately: housing and what the hell we're going to do because even with a voucher I am being told waiting lists are six months to a year. We do NOT have that kind of time as we are on our asses at the end of the year.

OMG I watched it too and within a span of less than a minute he went from NOT knowing 4 women who were splashed across the front page of the NY Times, to saying he did and they were ALL great women and continued on his rant to say they all told him they had not said those nasty things printed in the Times but had said all great things about him which the Times refused to print!

It's no wonder his counsel has tried to discouraging him from appearing before Muller!

I'm up surfing the net for a new hair do ~ I need a different look for the winter so I'm looking at pics, seems like angles and the piecey look is in, for the 2nd year. I fell in love w/ an Italian do w/ tossed short curls.

A weekend day trip to Sac for Cracker Barrel and exploring

I have so much to do today and I know I cannot possibly get everything done before tonight.

Quick trip to Home Depot for several items:
- several large bags of good dirt for new trees

- tree fertilizer with high nitrogen levels

- black mulch

- peat moss

- 8 pieces of 4x4x10 lumber

- 10 pieces of 2x4x14 lumber

- 8 bags fast drying sacrete concrete mix

- mayo from grocery store

- look to see if they have 4' long, 12" thick pvc pipe for my next little project. When I get time, I am building a rocket stove/heater from scratch. This is going to be so cool. :)

haircut if my lady is there today (looking like a shaggy Bon Jovi and it so hot)

Today's accomplishments made me believe I need to start my own business teaching other women (who are like my nieces) DIY building or repair projects. Not everyone can afford to hire a Lowes contractor to fix a door frame, or a busted faucet, etc.

I know a lady that makes good money teaching classes on how to use Dixie Bell chalk paint.

Maybe I could do something similar that would involve fixing, upcycling, using power tools, or figuring out creative fixes to a broken thing before they paint it?

Way too much!!! Everything from trying to get a new job to being head of household.
