I forgot I had turned 50..LOL. OK I have been busy, Red is gone again for another week. We have a new dog Abigail Adams Abby for short! She showed up on the week of the 4th of July. So I have the joy of taking care of a 5 dogs, 1 cat a pool and all the other homeowner things one must do. I'll try to participate more. Sorry!

OKie...... you have a full house i see .. heh.. ever make your doggies, dog popsicles?? , if they have a kong .. you plug up 1 hole and find a way to set it up.. and pour chicken or beef broth in it.. then stick it in the freezer... they will love it on hot days. :) or just pour some in a plastic container of some sort, i made my brothers dog some in small containers that salad came in from the super market. brock , ha your catching up with me.. :) ruth... hope your staying cool over there.. ((((OS))))) ...... ever crave a apple pie a la mode when your traveling around?? ..... you can get one at McDonalds... lol really... get a ice cream in a cup...and one of there hot apple pies.. and well.. u can break it up and put it on ice cream.. lol just a thought... i tried it.. its pretty good. :) ha ferret , sometimes i lurk too. im at home right now so am able to type a bit more .. i hate doing a lot of that from my phone. ... hopefully soon, i can get my lap top back up and running. **making a note here**.. next time down in Okie town, crash Okiebug's pool... hmm better stock up on doggy treats keep em busy.. hehe... Saw 3 different movies the last 2 weekends during Qfest... 1 I saw twice because it was so damn good! So funny!! That one is called Cloudburst and it stars Olympia Decakus (sp?). She is awesome in it!!!! Also saw Molly's Girl and A happy Ending. Both very good and there was a Q & A after each of the last 2 with some of the actors, directors and producers. I am hooked! I will HAVE to go next year! Have a great week lofters!

Having a bad day. Started out wrong and just continued. Because of my wrist/elbow and back injuries I need to move to an older classroom. The one that I wanted will not have enough kids in it to function. The only room I could take is working with a woman who is difficult to work with. I'm hoping that somehow she and I will click. I have to leave my current coteacher behind so I am NOT at all happy about that. We are going to try it for a week (next week) to see how it goes. We shall see how it goes. It just makes for more stress and right now, I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE STRESS!
I do, however, need a new job!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend! I am going to try my very best to have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. :beerbros: |

Older kids.. right now i am teaching 18 month to 2 year olds...they are going to put me in a class of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year olds. I actually wanted the 3 1/2 to 4 year olds...but that is the class that they think they will not have enough kids for. Malyasia huh... I thnk my elderly mother would have a few things to say about that! lololol A little more of a commute than I would like! lololololol |

Morning Morningstar... Hope you are finding something fun to do while you hang out in Ill. I went to the er yesterday with another migraine. Took a day off work and since mom is away, had to ask a friend to take me. The wonderful Wendy was right there to be my shero! lol Anyway, new migraine med did NOT work so hence the er visit. I am NOT a fan! Love the relief, but not the bills. sigh.. Back to the dr I go to try a new one. I need to stop lifting things ... I hate that I have the muscle to do this stuff and my neck doesn't like it!! Very frustrating. Lifted a box earlier this week (should not have I know), nailed 2 shelves.. also a no no, will have to get someone to finish that for me, and I dared to clean out my bedroom closet... apparently now THAT is a no no.. I am going to have to change how I do some things. Spread them out more and ask for help. I HATE asking for help.. sigh.. but I hate the bills more! I wish I had the cash to pay someone to do some of this stuff. I hate having to ask friends. My mom does things, but she is 72, I don't like asking her either. I need a new body. Anyway, relaxing and watching some of the beautiful women who are playing in the Olympics. Watched the end of the Columbia vs US womens soccor game.. great game... we won. at 3 I'm watching beach volley ball... love that. Trying to take care of some stuff around the house SLOWLY! A little laundry... .. ice and relax.. a little put this or that a way.. ice and relax... I have a date tomorrow. Going to the beach with this really wonderful butch I have been dating recently. She doesn't want a commitment so it is sexless fun for now. lolol It is fun getting to know her though. I just can't do the sex without commitment thing. Don't have to be living together or have a ring on my finger... but have to be committed and not dating anyone else. We shall see. Having fun for now... dating other ppl as well. The landlord is power washing the house. I was awakened at 7am to the sound of big equipment roaring. lol So, having a coffee, watchin a chick flick, and trying to stay cool in 30 degree celsius weather. (I can't open the windows because he is power washing) I think I will go and see the Spiderman movie tonight. What are the rest of you doing this long weekend?

This is really cool that there is a thread for us forty and fifty somethings! i'm 45 and holding! lol! it's not so bad being in the forty something group, even though sometimes i feel like i've been through the war! but i did enjoy my first time skydiving recently! so that makes up for a lot of the bad and sad times in life! so where are the hot single butches in their forties on here? lol! :sunglass:

Dance was fun... however on the way to the dance I was at a red light that had just turned green and the car in front of me backed into me.... hard. I pulled over, they took off....ofcourse! Thank goodness I have an honest mechanic who will do the work for 500 that everywhere else would charge me over 1000. Oye On a better note, with the meds change and less lifting at work, I have been almost heachache free for 8 days. I usually get several a day in addition to the migraines so this is a HUGE and WONDERFUL change!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this one would be different... she has been out of that relationship for a while. Oh well, the heart mends when it mends. While date was fun, she was definately pulling away. There was affection, but not as much as before. No making out etc. I know she is dating other people, and one other in particular. We have both been very honest with each other. I will not have sex outside of a relationship, she doesn't want a relationship..but does want sex. She has respected my boundaries and I respect her honesty. However, after today, I think she is leaning towards the other woman. We were seeing each other every other weekend (she has kids). Now she is going away on the weekend we usually see each other and the next time I see her will be at a women's event where we will be in the same cabin for a weekend with a number of other women. I know she is having sex with this other woman... fine. My head knows, and I told her, that she needs to figure this out for herself. She no longer wants to be monogamous because of past hurts. I want her to figure this out, I don't mind that she is doing this.It is something she feels she needs to do for a while and figure out what she wants. What bothers me is that she seems to be pulling away from me. She still seems to like me, played with my hair, kissed me sweetly several times, took me swimming and then out to dinner. But I am getting the feeling that she is wanting to go backwards... more of a friendship. I think I need some time away from her to figure out what I want to do. It's starting to hurt, and I don't like that.
