Every morning by Jane Changes
Every morning we wake up we have a chance to direct our day ~ Will I begin with gratitude for the new day ~ Will I take steps towards my goals and my initiatives ~ Will I seek inspiration and knowledge ~ Will I be accountable for where I am and where I can go ~~~~~~~ When ~~~~~~~~ We think about the day and what we want to make of it we take action When we follow the thought with action we have made progress When we are aware of this progress we become grateful ~~~~~~ Gratitude ~~~~~~ Shift from thoughts of doubt and fear to thoughts of Gratitude which opens doors Hope seems to push the door open further and we find ourselves surrounded by opportunity Every day life presents situations we interrupt by our thoughts ~ learn to shift those to the positive ~ and you will shift your entire life. - Jane Changes |

On most days, I can be found somewhere between II & III....
Autobiography in Five Short Chapters
I I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk I fall in. I am lost ... I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes me forever to find a way out. II I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place but, it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out. III I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. I still fall in ... it's a habit. my eyes are open I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately. IV I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. V I walk down another street. Copyright (c) 1993, by Portia Nelson from the book There's A Hole in My Sidewalk. The very purpose of our life is happiness, which is sustained by hope. We have no guarantee about the future, but we exist in the hope of something better. Hope means keeping going, thinking, ‘I can do this.’ It brings inner strength, self-confidence, the ability to do what you do honestly, truthfully and transparently. - Dalai Lama |
