Get here. You and Kat can have my bed. You like cats and dogs, right? They don't share as well so you'll have to sleep with them too.

Wicked comes to Austin January 25th, 2012 and will only be here for 3 weeks.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday.

Such an amazing musical...my favorite in fact

Doooooooo iiiiiittttt....we will have the most wonderful gathering to honor you (plural). It is butt-chapping cold here in January, I'll have you know.
AND, we keep our house unreasonably cold (like 70 degrees) in the winter anyway.
You can always hop in the pool to cool off if 40 degrees outside is too hot for you.

I mean it. You must be here. We will make evil plans to mess with Teh Arwen.

Durrrrrrrr will give up his guest bedroom and take the game room to be sure you have the queenly bed you deserve.
(you don't have to bring wine that weekend, durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

shariberry 10-21-2011 05:55 AM

You'd better not be teasing us, June! :rrose:

I might be down for Wicked, too. I just listened to the audiobook and I loved it!

We surre are missing everybody-we should have A Thing soon :)

Southwest also flies from the PDX to the LAS in January for $89 each way. :)

For a mere 500 more "it's a DRY heat" degrees, you can have tacky, glitzy and a room at Casa Theo's. :twitch:

Casa Theo is proud to offer a comfy bed, air conditioning (yes, even in the winter months) with an extra thick egg crate and two deluxe fans....one ceiling fixtured and the other a three speed floor model (brand names may vary. Please call for specifics). Complimentary transportation, to and from, is provided from Las Vegas's world famous McCarran International Airport to/from Casa Theo's.

Nightly entertainment features the one and only Mr. Ivan and his multi-song repertoire, located right outside your bedroom door. Performances are sporadic and occur during evening and night hours only. :awww::frog::musicnote:

Casa Theo......June and Kat's one stop vacation paradise, located in the Entertainment Capital of the World, fabulous Las Vegas. :D

Our slogan: "The best vacations in Vegas happen with friends off of The Strip". :)

Call today to schedule your vacation at Casa Theo's. :)

You know the number. :twitch:

We're also looking at prices for April. We will need a bed. I get cranky when I have to sleep on the floor and nobody wants that.

ETA: Theo does get points for his very specific ad!

You are more than welcome to stay at our place. We may not be at the same place in April but you are always welcome.

January's nice. Like your winter, but kinder and gentler. Jacket weather for sure, but not necessarily boots and mittens weather.

Ebon and I saw the So You Think You Can Dance tour tonight and it was lovely! Pupoil, did you hear us yell hello to you as we zipped along on Mopac?

:cheesy:

The only downside to the evening was the poor excuse for food that Ebon got at the center. It was icky. They put hardly any cheese on the chips and there were bell peppers in it and the meat didn't taste like meat. It tasted like someone said, "Hey, let's make something that's not meat and put it in a meat dish and see what happens!"

We ate it.

BUT

It was only because we were hungry and it cost Ebon the lower half of his pancreas.

Waste not, want not.

Okay - November 5. It's on. That's a Saturday. We'll post details soon, but you know the drill! come, hang out, eat food, talk, enjoy each other, play Apples to Apples or Fact or Crap. Laugh a lot.

Plus....talk a lot about Reunion and everyone we miss and then text them all night long. hee hee hee

Save Saturday Nov 5 for a trip to Cedar Park!

Puplove 10-21-2011 11:49 PM

I thought I heard something, but it was a very pained howl. I think it was Ebon paying for "dinner."

I kinda figured your car would be at airport.

Sucks about missin Halloween since it sounds like y'all get a lot of trick-or-treaters there.

I'll be back on the 30th but my neighbors told me they only had 2 trick-or-treaters last year.

I don't know if I'll be up to joining you all. My associate is going on her honeymoon then and I'm working the whole weekend alone.

Maybe though.

I'll try.

MBE and I are talking about popping down to Houston for a couple days, then possibly over to Austin a couple days... perhaps in late Feb/mid March.

Yes, I *have* to go to Houston. No, I *cannot* be dissuaded.

We'll check out prices and such and see which is cheaper to fly into and out of.

PS: I didn't always live in MO! Born and raised in North Texas.

Well come on down! Houston is about a three hour drive from Austin. It is usually cheaper to fly in and out of Houston, but with a Southwest sale you might find a ticket at a good price to Austin. Keep us posted!
