went to a Halloween party. There was a contest for the grossest food. Absolutely disgusting...kitty litter, intestines and black deviled eggs.
(The kitty litter was good after you got over how it looked. The intestines, were cinnamon rolls opened up with red food coloring added to the topping. ) I got to dress up in all things I don't normally do. Lol. Fishnets, pink streaks in my hair, and super long false eyelashes. Drank many Harvest beers ! Good times. |

As usual we do all our fun stuff during the day...
We started out with a leisurely breakfast/lunch at our favorite local spot, then proceeded to the New England Fiber festival. Got a few things there AND I tried my hand at yarn spinning. Definitely a learned task that looks easier than it is. After that, we went trying to look at a kitten to adopt but just found chicken stuff. We stopped for lunch at a place with “brewing” in its name only to find they did NOT make their own beer. It was kind of divey but the food and beer was very good. Then returned home and watched an awesome special about the National Parks that gives snippets about each one. My honey is finally getting excited about full time RV living (next year) and we’re making lists of places to go! |

Got my household chores finished while watch two footballs now waiting on Mary to fix a meal......
Later I'm going through Christmas cards, stickers, gift wrap, etc etc left over from last year to see what we'll need. I was at the PowWow early this morning. Came home at 6. Watched football with folks for a few, now laundry so I won't have to do it all tomorrow.

It was quiet. I kept falling asleep in front of the TV so I dragged myself to bed around 10:30. Being sick sucks.

Just settling home now. Had a great night out with girlfriends at concert. Danced for hours... so good.

After work, stopped for nachos and mango margaritas.
Brought home some goodies, like black lace and rhinestones to trim a baseball cap. Going to be way more cuter than the ones I saw at the western store. Which by the way, I need to visit more often!! Getting some fun text messages this evening 😉 |

My early Saturday started with a trip to an antique/vintage/architectural salvage yard. (I will NEVER allow my neighbor to drive again!! We had several near misses and my heart stopped twice!)
Lunch at a diner. Home for a nap. Ran to town for Harbor Freight purchase. Now at midnight I just finished installing R13 insulation in my workshop. :wine: :wine: A Saturday night well spent. I'm loving it! |
