Hurting people hurt...it is their way of getting rid of the pain they feel inside. They don't know any better and so the most sane one in a relationship must be the one to behave as a loving adult...and walk away with Love. To stay is not loving to the one who is doing the attacking...it keeps them in that place of inner hell and it is not loving to yourself to accept such attacks.
