I didn't fall asleep at my desk at work....although I wanted to, badly all afternoon lol

cinnamongrrl 03-22-2016 05:46 AM

I had a short work day...but I came home exhausted and laid down...

Later at night the proverbial fire got lit under my butt and I got shit done...

I vacuumed and mopped the kitchen

Same with the bathroom

Cleaned the tub

vacuumed the living room and hall

Did dishes

Cleaned the counter and sinks

FINALLY went through a box of papers and magazines and sorted them accordingly.

Finished organizing my storage area.

Put laundry away and prepared a load to take today to wash...I've given up on the nice weather returning so I can hang wash out...I need All my rugs cleaned...

On the agenda:

This weekend I want to wash my bedroom windows and blinds so I can hang curtains. If I say it then I must do it...lol

Today, I've gotten up and taken care of the :cat:, gone to the gym and worked out, stopped by the bank to get stuff for work, and put one of the comforters in the wash before going to the gym and then into the dryer when I got back. Then I had to move the :cat: around as he did not want to give up his spot on the bed for me to strip the sheets. I listened sympathetically to his very vocal outcry at the injustice of it all. The sheets are now in the wash and the first comforter is about to come out of the dryer. I've made breakfast and eaten it and put some dishes away. Next up is laundry switcheroo, more complaining from the :cat: and maybe some boogie music as I do more chores.

I've done everything else so far this morning, I'm about ready to go do the 🐱 Move myself. Lol

I read somewhere, it's a 2000 calorie effort to put on the fitted sheet by yourself!!

MysticOceansFL 03-22-2016 10:28 AM

Got up and tended to my loving dog and had a cup of coffee and signed on bfp and sent a few carrying messages to feiends letting them know they are thought of . And now getting ready to rinse off my truck it's got a lot of pollen on it.

Some days, it feels like it!

Gayandgray 03-24-2016 05:13 PM

Got up early and took car for oil change, took my spouse to the barbershop for her haircut, got groceries, poured her medicine for the week, did my required amount of squats for the squats challenge I'm doing, played outside with my dogs, changed lightbulb in back porch light, cooked dinner, did dishes, cleaned bathrooms, called around for a cleaning job for the Summer (still no luck) and now I'm just hanging out watching tv.

Gemme 03-24-2016 06:25 PM

I'm pretty happy with my accomplishments for the day. I went into the office to help my employee for a couple of hours, made and ate brunch, put together an IKEA-ish L shaped desk with topper, painted on a metal shelving unit some more, answered some office questions and issues and went to let my employee into the office when she locked herself out, cleaned the windows and dusted in the craft room, put the last of the face plates on the outlets, went shopping for crafts and food and decided to treat myself so I splurged on some good wine and picked up some delicious sides and a large slab of porterhouse. It's my first wine of the year. Yay!

:wine:

I cleared all the dishes in the kitchen and I'm doing laundry now and am catching up on my recorded shows in the background.

Chad 03-24-2016 06:33 PM

Accomplished

I drove three hours to the coast to make a video about my project and then drove three hours home. Only a 10 hour day yay!

Bèsame* 03-24-2016 09:00 PM

a day in the life of me...

Day off, slept till 9:30!!
Enjoyed the morning with coffee, flipping thru channels, planning the to do list;
oil change
Dollar store for steel wool, for a project. Also, got things for Easter:)
Craft store for some floss, another project.
Office Max, ran off 30 pages of a business grid I needed.
Stopped for lunch..a real hamburger with fries.
Ultra, had a coupon for sunscreen...scored! That stuff is not cheap.
Pick up a few groceries, for dinner and lunches.

Oh, and I between all those places, I stopped for double Hoilday surprises. (Talking in circles, cause I know he will be reading this...lol)

Came home with goodies, and then swept the floors, vacuumed, and washed the rugs. Just in time for him to come home.

Sat in the backyard, shared stories of the day. Enjoyed the spring afternoon, with a cocktail, watching the various birds, relaxing. I love the time we actually spend together 💞

Made dinner.

Sweet Bliss 03-30-2016 07:40 PM

Painted the upper third panels on both sides of Grace. Covered up the failed gold trim. Painted the little bird house gourd, just the base so far, tomorrow the fancy stuff!

Slept all afternoon. Woo hoo!! :byebye:

Gayandgray 04-01-2016 03:51 PM

Took my spouse to arthritis doctor for an injection, cleaned bathrooms, cleaned up the dogs poop in the yard, did my squats, played with dogs.

Orema 04-01-2016 04:14 PM

Met all deadlines on time.

Gemme 04-01-2016 05:37 PM

Not as much if I were working alone. Weird how that works but I get chatty and social when there's another body in the office.

:canadian:

Jesse 04-01-2016 07:04 PM

I paid the bills for the month

Made rice water for Sadie because she had an upset tummy. She's all better now! :)

Changed the ac filter, and washed a load of clothes

Took a spanish test. Passed but could have done better.

Did some research on a big project I am working on.

Possibly sold the drop in liner for the truck bed. Forgot to put the new stickers on my truck tag.

Watered the plants and my Moringa tree

Not really much of anything! :byebye:

Kätzchen 04-09-2016 06:37 PM

I slept for nearly twelve hours, which I truly needed lots of rest after a very busy week.

The laundry is on to dry, will fold it soon, maybe do a smidgen of ironing.

I have not decided what to make for supper.
Maybe breakfast: Waffles, bacon and eggs?

Later on tonight, I will give myself an manicure and pedicure.

Right now though, while I wait on the laundry to dry, I'm basking in the late afternoon sun and reading posts, quietly thinking.

Gemme 04-09-2016 06:42 PM

I went to the gym, have given the :cat: his meds twice today and fed him 5 times and cleaned his stinky little playground, ate breakfast, loaded the dishwasher, did the necessary hygiene processes and shopped at 4 stores. On a Saturday. Shoot me.

CherryWine 04-09-2016 07:49 PM

Made breakfast for my folks, fished all morning, helped my dad saw off and move a huge sweetgum limb from over the pond, fished again for the rest of the afternoon and then made the hour and a half drive home. Now I am chilling in my PJs with the kitty, nursing a sunburn, and having a glass of vino.

It has been a good day. I needed the time with my parents and the peace and quiet of nature. :)

grenade 04-09-2016 09:19 PM

I took my daughter early this morning to a high school music competition. I gave myself a much needed pedicure. I slept a whole bunch.

Went through an entire storage of stuff. Its amazing the junk I kept lol. Not now I'm purging my life. Lol

Gayandgray 04-10-2016 12:39 PM

A lot!! I cooked a whole chicken, made mac& cheese and green beans for spouse's dinner tonight, helped her shower, gave her meds, dog's meds, everybody fed, cleaned, did laundry, now I'm at work. Oh and I played in the yard with dogs : )

Gemme 04-10-2016 12:45 PM

I took care of the :cat:'s food and meds, went to the gym, stripped and made the bed with fresh sheets, had breakfast and did two loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom including replacing the toilet seat and a burned out vanity bulb, vacuumed the house, watched some DVR'd shows, put some staple groceries away that got dumped inside the door yesterday (chemicals and paper products, mostly), checked my accounts, added about 50 things to my amazon list and straightened up as I went along today.

Now, it's time to hunt for food.

jools66 04-10-2016 01:12 PM

Finally got round to getting 2 new pots and some special compost for the orchids.
Hope they like their new homes.

Orema 04-16-2016 10:43 AM

Drove 21 miles on the freeway. 13 miles in one direction and 11 miles in another direction.

I had been hoping I'd drive to Sedona by the end of the year. I'm now aiming for Palm Springs by the end of the year. I think I'll make it.

LOQUI 04-16-2016 11:08 AM

Hmmm...so far, I made my bed!! :)

starryeyes 04-16-2016 11:44 AM

Nothing yet!!

Chad 04-16-2016 12:52 PM

Accomplished

So far everything that I set out to do today.
I got a hair cut, did the grocery shopping, and knocked out some mowing.

Time for a break

:cowboy:

candy_coated_bitch 04-16-2016 04:28 PM

I went to the junk yard to get the last piece of glass for my car. Almost through the ordeal of the accident.

Gayandgray 04-16-2016 06:13 PM

Worked at the kennel all morning, came home and tended to spouse and my dogs, then did yard work all afternoon. I was in my Happy Place!! Oh and I washed comforters and hung them out on the line.

FireSignFemme 04-18-2016 11:58 PM

Made enough food to last for a few days so I won't have to take a break from crafting to cook or run the oven during the predicted warm spell. Readied the four craft pieces I've finished so far for shipment. After lunch I spent a few hours going through boxes in the back room. My sons will help me with all the hard work of getting things either to the dump or into storage but in order for them to help me I’ve got to get the organizational sorting and decision making stuff done. This since only I know what is important enough to me to be worth holding onto. Rescued Monte from a neighborhood bully, he’s really friendly and just doesn’t seem to get that some other cats you know they don’t want to make friends they just want to kick his ass. That and probably if he wishes to escape pain, torture, agony, the best place in life to run is not going to be straight into the holly bushes. Next I readied a bunch of stuff to send off with my youngest to auction off on ebay. Did the dishes and that was about it. Now a little ironing before bed so I can wake up in the morning with less of to do/get finished before the day really starts heating up.

l'Cie 04-19-2016 01:12 AM

So far today I had an awesome workout and breakfast
Packed my lunch for work so that I can stick to my eating plan
Arrived at work on time despite having a rather productive study session last night aaaannnnnd made two people's day at work by showing them some appreciation

Oh and attempting to get some work done...that counts yes?

Jesse 04-23-2016 08:38 AM

The other day I ordered a big box full of various dried herbs, about a dozen large bags in all, plus 10 lbs of raw shea butter, and a bunch of essential oils.

So I spent the better part of this morning, washing and sterilizing half gallon and quart canning jars, packing the herbs in, and putting them in the herb pantry. I need more jars! Then I got the EOs packed into a sealed container, so they don't taint my food, and placed them in the fridge. I still need to process the shea butter, as well as a brick of Black African Soap, but that will have to happen this evening because it is a job in and of itself. My house sure does smell good though! ;)

RockOn 04-23-2016 10:07 AM

I have already taken two truckloads of stuff to the storage room. I bought a house and want to clear out my present place, get it cleaned well. It will make cleaning easier if it is empty. Plus, soon as I close on the house, it will be easier to back a U-HAUL to storage place, load it and take it home.

I am super-jazzed!
😆

easygoingfemme 04-23-2016 12:09 PM

A bike ride that was cut short due to tire trouble, but a bike ride none-the-less. Forgot to pack a spare tube... grumble.

Mowed the lawn

Picked up the house

Attention to the animals

Attention to the teenager

Sorted papers

Sort of figured out where I'm taking my daughter tomorrow for her first college visit open house.

willow 04-23-2016 01:41 PM

Did a load of laundry.
Fed, cleaned and watered the fur and feathered peeps.
Fed myself.
Bubble Bath!
Pegged laundry outside to dry.
Retrieved towels from neighbours fence, rehung to dry.
Food shopped. Fresh, frozen, dried and canned.
The dreaded putting away of food shop. Dislike.
Ran a couple of errands.
Took the old kitchen bin to the recycling centre and bought a new bin.
Repaired the curtain poll that fell down and fixed it back up.
Washed, dried and rehung curtains.

clay 04-23-2016 01:52 PM

Laundry done....

Pool time....:)

Shower....dinner later...going on some errands!!!!

CherryWine 04-23-2016 01:54 PM

Household chores and grocery shopping.

Now I'm about to accomplish drinking some piña coladas with a friend. :D

ksrainbow 04-23-2016 02:52 PM

Completion from yesterday eve....

After 5.5 inches of much welcomed rain last week:

I mowed my yard and my elderly neighbors' last eve.

Today, I finished the weed trimming, cleaned out the flower beds and rock gardens. Hauled the debris to the compost site, grabbed a six pack of *cool-ones* and received a hug from my neighbor :)

Awesome eve. and a wonderful Kansas Saturday...doesn't get any better than that!
