Ok... so I got my flight info. I arrive around noonish on the 23rd (Jan) and leave on Jan 28th (sorry. Company policy is to leave sooner than later :( ) I'm staying at the Embassy Suites Austin Arboretum (sp?). I have no idear where that is.

That could work. I was thinking about it and if I can find a place to stay on Friday then I could certainly get my return flight changed. :)

I am here to let you all know that BK will be in the Houston area and will be coming to Austin on Friday...possibly Saturday...most likely Friday, and would like to meet up with some of this wonderful BFP family!

Just wanted to that I'm officially in Texas. I need me a long horn baseball cap !!

I'm enjoying this weather! It's nice to wear shorts vs shoveling snow. Lol

From Beaumont, Austin is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours... depending on traffic in Katy. But if you are driving up on a Saturday, you shouldn't have any problems at all. It's a really easy drive.

Thank you. I'm hoping cable dude gets here on time so I can't meet y'all. Heck yeah I would drive to meet y'all. That's one of the things I was looking forward to when I moved to Texas. Was the strong BFP family that is there.

Looking forward to this and many more gatherings.

Wow! Seems all roads lead to Austin these days...I too will be visiting your fair city in the very near future. :) A Newyawka in Texas...should be interesting, lol. Makes me feel like breaking into song...
