Just getting some affirmation that I am loved and do matter from a few people lately. It really has meant a lot.

I am thankful for fresh cut grass, extra thankful if i didnt have to cut it, 2 great kids and are a little too independant sometimes, a bbf that ALWAYS has my back, and I have hers.. :) and the consistent flow of pics from LOST Girl... you know who you are, and i am ever so thankful for the distractions.. and the eye candy.. dang..
oh and sweet hot tea... yum! |
I'm thankful for my medical team
Thankful for their compassion and experience Thankful for my PT student, he graduates in December and I think this is a perfect profession for him. Thankful he works at my pace and gives me a nudge when I need to work harder Thankful he is able to build my confidence each week to do or try to do something I wasn't able to do the week before |
I'm thankful for my the beautiful place where I live, being close to the ocean and being able to see all the critters out my window. I'm thankful for a for gaining strength (now if I could just contain it). For a yummy salad. And for some good conversation....

My new role at work, which is less stress than other roles I've held. I'm so thankful that I found a great dentist too, for the family of coworkers I've come to know over the past 2.5 years and for my very close lady friends, here at home and abroad. Moreso, I'm so grateful for life, and that life was relatively trouble free today -- which always brings such pleasure, especially when life isn't always trouble free.

I'm glad I made it through one more day, I had my pain issues but managed to hang in the game. Tomorrow is the second back burn to quiet the darn nerves that are causing the mess the first place, the first one is working like a charm.

The distraction of days full of business and nights of carefree fun. Karaoke tonight. My union brothers and sisters remind me that as one door closes, many others are there waiting for me to open them.

The amazing people that comprise my inner circle. That circle may be small but we're a force to be reckoned with when the situation warrants it. A career that I absolutely love (despite the carnage that we deal with), and a body that has been gracious enough to allow me to do it for as long as I have.
