Thanks everyone for your prayers. My sister left us Friday afternoon. I don't even know how to begin the process of laying her to rest, then spend the next few days, weeks, months, years not being able to call her and drop by her house for no reason at all. Although I'm happy she is no longer suffering, I miss her already.

God called up another Angel Thursday evening. I'm lighting a candle for all of those whose life he touched in his 96 years on earth. A kinder, gentler man you'll never find. Always a smiling face and a clean joke to share. A man of integrity a man of God. He loved everyone he met, and shared a his love of the outdoors with many folks around the county, threw sharing the bounty of his garden to and the craftmanship of his bird houses and feeders. Even the waitresses at the diner were talking about him this morning. You will be missed Mr B. May the memories of you always be sweet ones.

Lighting two candles tonight
The first candle that i light tonight is for Alix's niece who has been bullied to the point of feeling suicidal. No one should have to deal with that, especially not over being bisexual ~ its who she is and should be accepted as such. i hope and pray that she can find the strength to realize that she is important and is cared for, and that she should be proud of who she is because she is wonderful just as she is :rrose:

As Nikki gets stronger I light a candle not just for her but for all the teenagers out there that are suffering hate and bullying because of being different in some way. They are the ones that need our energy, positive thoughts, and prayers for they are the next generation and the most likely to end their lives without anyone seeing the warning signs. May Nikki and all others find the gentleness of dreams answered. Peggie's cat Freedom's remains are on my fireplace with my PeachesBoi. I picked up the little memorial box of her ashes with a swatch of her calico fur in a little blue craft bag from the Vet. Tomorrow, I will forward them on to Peg as she wanted. Another small bit of the past will join her in her new surroundings, and I hope comfort her in a good way. I realized tonight, that in the last year, I have said goodbye to 5; Milana, a friend who passed away after being ill and in a hospital for over a year, My 19 year old PeachesBoi kitty kat, Dusty and Choo Choo, then Freedom, three other felines who were part of my extended family.
