Barb42 06-19-2016 04:28 PM

Fixed breakfast for my momma, clean the kitchen & bathroom... Mowed 4- yards, cleaned out the garage & fixed dinner.. Now shower time & time to chill-out...

easygoingfemme 06-19-2016 05:04 PM

A whole lot of nothing. Which was kind of my plan. So I guess I met my goals?

Lecheloco 06-19-2016 05:26 PM

5 employee evaluations, 3 training sessions and a partridge in a pear tree. . Haha

Gemme 06-19-2016 06:01 PM

Step 1: wake up

Step 548,493: finish the container of ice cream

Somewhere in between, I worked, applied a modicum of self-control at two craft stores AND a bookstore (that's the true accomplishment right there) and I danced around as I tidied up the place.

Jesse 06-19-2016 06:01 PM

Grocery shopped for eggs, berries, veggies, dairy and water

Straightened up the living room.

Got Sadie to put all of her babies back into her toy box. She has 30+ stuffed animals (babies).

Vacuumed, & dusted

Cleaned the outside glass on the front of the house which amounts to 3 windows and a glass storm door. Not bad.

A load of laundry

I still need to toss Sadie into the tub and scrub her down good, then I will clean the bathroom. Hopefully I will get both finished this evening, if not, it will go on tomorrow's list.

Sweet Bliss 06-19-2016 10:07 PM

A six hour nap!!! lol, feels good.

Gayandgray 06-21-2016 10:24 AM

A lot!!!!!

easygoingfemme 06-23-2016 01:09 PM

Called in for final results on my daughters college placement tests and found that she got top-notch scores.

Called in to see how that impacted her financial package and it impacted it in a huge and positive way- kid has an almost free ride coming this year.

Sat with the kiddo to plot out what her class schedule might look like next year if she can get into all of the classes she wants/needs.

Started looking at applications and requirements for me to get my MSW... contemplating.

Washed curtains and bedding.

Mended some clothes that need mending.

Worked a little though technically I'm off today.

Congrats to your daughter (and YOU, mom)! I was curious about what was the "college placement tests". Is this to see what level Spanish class she could get into as a freshman...that sort of thing?

randrum 06-23-2016 05:29 PM

Day drinking at a baseball game. And a little bit of a tan.

Thank you and thank you! The test is part figuring out what level to get placed for things like math and reading, and also weighs things like academic merit for scholarships, grants, etc. It's helpful to us because she's enrolling in rather back door way as a homeschooler and is finishing high school while in college.

Jesse 06-23-2016 08:02 PM

I took Sadie for a ride in the truck. She grinned ear to ear the entire trip. It's the seemingly small things in life that are important.

Soon 06-23-2016 08:13 PM

Helped a colleague avoid a complete meltdown
Spent hours tinkering with an online course I'm teaching in July

Bèsame* 06-23-2016 08:17 PM

Day two of training for my new hire. And.....I made an offer to another!

RockOn 06-23-2016 10:36 PM

bought a new king size serta memory gel mattress yesterday, picked it up after work today ...

got it off the truck, inside the house, all settled and dressed ... now it is ready to sleep on tonight ... the dogs are acting like excited little kids about it. :) Safe to say, it has their approval. LOL!

Kenna 06-23-2016 10:46 PM

Went to the Doctor's...fixed things at my pharmacy...ran chores...fed farm critters and furbabies...watered garden...took a nap...had a late dinner/salad...organized all my new meds...gave treats to furbabies...had a hard day with pain, so I didn't get as many chores done as I wanted.

Gayandgray 06-24-2016 09:19 AM

So far I cooked spouse her breakfast, medicated her and the dogs, helped her shower, cleaned, laundry, fried a lot of squash for her to have tonight with her supper, now getting ready to take out trash and pick out my scrubs for work today.:hangloose::hangloose:

clay 06-24-2016 12:59 PM

Had my therapy & a lovely therapeutic massage today!

I am now going into the pool!! Yum!

Gayandgray 06-25-2016 04:42 PM

Worked at the kennel this morning, came home and tended to spouse and our dogs, cut my grass, heated up leftovers for dinner, hung wash on the line, and now just chilling. :hangloose::hangloose:

Soon 06-25-2016 05:39 PM

All Day (with internet breaks of course ;) )

Clothing Purge!

(I have a boot problem it appears and am still working on which ones need to go) :vigil:

DapperButch 06-25-2016 06:34 PM

Washed the outside of my 36 foot beach trailer. It gets completely covered in mildew over the winter since it is in a wooded area. It is white, so it is always a cool transformation.

It took me like half the time it usually takes. 3 hours instead of 5-6. New approach. Very pleased.

easygoingfemme 06-25-2016 07:17 PM

A whole lot of deep cleaning at the house, the kind with scrub brushes in the corners.

A whole lot of laundry.

A bunch of errands.

A visit with my mom.

A lot of texting my daughter through a stressful day on her part. Which made a stressful day on my part. Which meant stress cleaning.

grenade 06-25-2016 09:08 PM

I ordered checks.

That's it.

*Anya* 06-25-2016 09:11 PM

It was GF's golf day so I:

Washed my car
Went to grocery store
Dry cleaners
Bank

Did all this by 11:30AM

Then stripped the bed
Washed sheets
Made the bed
Made a paleo blueberry loaf (mix, not scratch) with fresh blueberries

Started OITNB marathon. On episode number 6 :)

stargazingboi 06-27-2016 09:06 AM

Let see:

let the dogs out and fed them

I cooked a few different things this morning so I have something to choose from later if I get hungry.

went and got myself a coffee.

cleaned my mess up in the kitchen

I fixed the splash guard on my car because it was hanging low.

I washed the seats in my car and cleaned the inside.

and it's only 10am.

Gemme 06-27-2016 07:11 PM

I survived.

Sometimes, it's just that simple.

Orema 06-27-2016 07:19 PM

I crushed some ants.

We battle once a year or so.

Very smart and industrious they are.

I won today.

Tomorrow is another story.

grenade 06-27-2016 08:06 PM

I gave myself a really good pedicure with patriotic paint for the upcoming holiday.

stargazingboi 06-28-2016 09:51 AM

Got up

Let the dogs out and fed them

Watered the what is left of the garden (the rain storms broke a lot of the squash plants :( )

Mowed the front lawn

Fix the mower (because it quit on me in the middle of mowing the back yard)

Mowed the back yard

Cleaned the mower (grass was still damp from the morning dew...so, it sticks and needs cleaning)

Went to the store

Made dog food

Made two different pasta dishes one alfredo and one vegan creamy red sauce with onions, mushrooms, summer squash and zucchini

Cleaned my mess up in the kitchen

Steam cleaned the rugs

and it's only 10:50am

Gayandgray 06-28-2016 09:55 AM

Worked at kennel for 2 1/2 hours, cooked breakfast, medicated spouse and dogs, cleaned the floors, dishes, laundry, now getting ready to shower and head to work at nursing home this afternoon. :hangloose:

I can now add that I gave Syd, the oldest dog, a hair cut. He was acting all pathetic because attention was being given to the sick one. So, I figured he must need some one on one time. When I give him a hair cut and make him look handsome, he feels loved. He's a happy dog now.

Chad 06-28-2016 08:49 PM

Accomplished

I accomplished everything that I set out to do today.
It was a long day but it was a successful day.

:cigar2:

Sweet Bliss 06-28-2016 10:38 PM

I woke up alive.
I took care of my brood.
did a few projects...
fixed breakfast... lunch
pulled weeds for 10 minutes, bad move...
passed out for 6 hours...

note to self, don't f**king do that again.

LOQUI 06-29-2016 12:32 AM

...was I supposed to accomplish something today?! :|

Soon 06-29-2016 05:25 AM

I'll get back to you on this.

...so far, coffee and mulling over my to-do list; as far as getting to it, that remains to be seen. :|

clay 06-29-2016 06:38 AM

T'was yesterday......but I:

worked on my crafting projects...almost done with them....

texted with a dear friend

bought groceries

went out to dinner with my honey

we got a bit of pool time in...:)

watched some of the Olympic Trials........Go TEAM USA!!!

Gemme 06-29-2016 07:10 AM

So far, I woke up, put a load of laundry in, went to the gym, switched the laundry over and put another load in the washer and now I'm eating breakfast and playing online.

Still to do, put dishes away, get laundry dried and put away, move a 6 plus foot buffet around my house after cleaning it really, really good and get a good cold shower in before going through my wardrobe and getting another donation bag going. I still have to go to the bank today, so I might actually make it out of the house and to the donation drop off.

stargazingboi 06-29-2016 01:07 PM

I got up and did the usual let the dogs out and fed them. Came down stairs and checked my email etc..computer was fine.

I went out got a coffee then started weeding the walk ways, garden, etc.

I came in and grabbed my laptop and the screen was cracked. WTF it was fine when I closed it.

So, I took out the old screen to see what part number I would need to order. Grabbed my old laptop and took out the screen to see if it would work. It's to fat to fit but works when plugged in. So, for now I have it tapped up with electrical tap. That way I can use my computer and find the part I need.
