Waking up next to my honey and being able to lounge around in one another's arms for a while before beginning our day.

Takeing a nap with my fur kids and no one else at home to make any noise..just a good deep sleep I have needed a while.

taking a long walk with my "friend" today. She is so protective and we passed her house; she put the puppy inside the gate and walked me home. Nothing said just yet. Just good company. and yes she is butch. :)

going to work and getting my raise finally........................... then coming home to my fur babies and knowing I dont need someone to love me to be happy.

There is nothing more perfect to me than knowing that my daughter is home, sleeping in the next room to mine....or sleeping on the sofa...or sitting on the terrace enjoying the sun or a fire in the fire pit.
I don't care. SHE'S HOME!!!!! Why yes...as a matter of fact, I DO love my daughter! :) |
What brought me joy today was how well Bear handled himself in class today. My little charmer was the hit of the class! Who'd of thunk it? Lol!

having friends that genuinely care, and go out of their way to make me feel better....someone making a special dinner because I had a horrible toothache and could hardly eat.... friends that watch out for me and watch over me.

Going to the movies to see Red with Teh Arwen and my love. The movie was all kinds of bad ass and I will probably watch it again.

Spending the day with most of my family; kids, their spouses, their kids, their in-laws and some neighborhood kids as well. Great food, great conversation, great face painting, gift giving; just a wonderful day!

Allllllllll the Halloween Candy folks brought in....And guess where it's located? Yep, near me...:thumbsup:

My coworkers. I brought in candy, one of my tech guys brought in a huge bag of candy, my customer service girl brought in more candy. We are all sharing and enjoying being around each other.
Than to top it off, we got a package from a guy I sold a computer to on Friday. He over nighted us all danishes, huge massive, yummy ones that the entire company than shared in the break room together. Its moments like this that make it hard to leave. |
being told during the interview that they have been waiting to hire me for six months since they received my resume. And as long as my credentials from my state match that state (I live side by side to PA) the job is mine!
oh god...if they dont what a disaster that will be....but understandable. It was still an honor to be told this. But if they do, damn. I will be FT employed professionally again! |

Today at the hospital, I took a movie to a 5-year-old in PICU.....and I was silly when I walked in (go figure) and I made him smile.....
His Mommy followed me out and hugged me....and thanked me for making him smile 'because he hasn't smiled in 3 days'....... <gulp> That just stopped me in my tracks.....it was such a small thing, acting silly....but it was so huge to them. You just never know, do Ya? It was a moment for sure..... :) |
Romp and Run time with all the Smooch Pooches!! Watching Tashi whoop up on Willy and watching them be so happy running their asses off! They love having so much land here that they don't need leashes. They run, chase, romp, wrestle HARD, have mid-air collisions, and sneak attacks where they pick at each other for another round. So comical!

Going to a teacher conference and actually learning useful tools that I can use Monday morning with my students. Being new to education I relish the opportunity to speak with more seasoned teachers and this seminar was absolutely fraught with opportunities to network and chat.

Someone at the dog park telling me that my little Frog Dog "sure looks like a happy little guy!" He is and he makes me happy!

My Woman and I renting a house that is going to be so cool to live in.....a huge yard for our lovely kitties that they will enjoy and so will we....
the thought of growing a garden with you, love and eating our own food, planting flowers and having an outdoor firepit.....its making me excited about life... |
Nothing yet but then it is only 7:36 am est.! LOL I imagine some joy to come around later this morning.
