Freaking Googling pictures of cows!! I never thought I'd smile so hard with all of the goofy-looking cow photos popping up.

Cows with party hats!! Cows on bicycles! Cows raking their garden!!!

Who knew cows were so delightful!!!

It's that feeling, that knowing, that I am doing something(s) which is going to alter my life for the better. It's that feeling of pride in myself for making a good choice, and showing up. It's the gratitude for the opportunities, and to witness prayers answered in their own way, but the right way.

There is yet much work to be done and it's not always easy but as long as remember the above, I am smiling. :)

Hi,

I had a very important meeting in San Antonio today and I thought my task was to WOW the audience but from the moment I arrived they were gushing over me.

It is so nice to have strangers gush over you. I am still smiling :).

A co-worker is very creative and is always trying to do new things with her cupcakes...well today as a birthday gift...she gave me a cupcake that looked like a dog, complete with a little red tongue sticking out...and the other was a little teddy bear fishing and 2 fish one was on the line, complete with ducks swimming on the blue icing...I was so touched but not enough that I haven't devoured the fish one...lol.

Hi,

my silly FB friends are so funny and silly they make me smile everyday :).

Lunch with her. A fly fishing story that made me laugh until I cried. Coffee after work with her. A moment of trust that didn't fly away in fear just as quickly as it arrived. Hearing her talk about forgiveness in a way that didn't imply that she was the only person on the planet who'd ever done anything wrong. Making plans to help her paint her new studio apartment this weekend and waiting for an hour while she picked out the color for a single gallon of paint. The way she treats her dog. Her green eyes. Her cute, crooked smile. The way she bites her bottom lip when she's concentrating. Thoughts that I keep to myself because I'm a gentleman.

Just everything about her.

Went to my daughter's boyfriend's high school football game tonight. At halftime, a small "marching" band walked out onto the field, played with pride despite not having much gift for music, then walked back off. It reminded me of my own band days in high school, which saved me. Here's my alma mater band playing a song that was very big...when I was in high school. Sigh.

Finding out some information from a friend, that had me checking the internet. I was so happy to read that something like this was allowed in the world, especially in a part of the world that has had so much brutality and suffering thrust upon the people. What beautiful compromise in a society with harsh and bloody laws.
