I went to the mailbox...found a letter from the tax department..opened it...put it back in the envelop...stuck it at the bottom of a pile of stuff on my desk...the world's a mess and yet they still want me to pay taxes...wtf: let me see some results first.

Ok -- I organized syllabi/booklists for the next school year (hours!); found out info from the Principal I needed to know; picked up a repaired boot and got a skirt hemmed; got my hair done; attended Graduation ceremonies (ugh--long--but I do enjoy seeing the kids past and present!); had a few conversations that needed to happen at said ceremony.

Now I'm finally at home and want all the treats (of which I don't have and am too damn lazy to go to the corner store to buy some Doritos to stuff my face with).

I resisted the temptation....

of buying a bag of Fritos...or Cheetos...or M&M's...or well, comprende?...

Found out a few things about my family & getting a few things sorted out.

yesterday, I went for coffee with a friend, we talk and we dream around some ideas...Does that count as an accomplishment? :sunglass:

Read up on more paperwork disided to make and cook chili so that's what I did and I'll have a late lunch/dinner today with a side salad and a glass of sweet tea.

Work has been great today! Accomplished a lot! I see a nice bonus in my future. :D

I went to the dentist and the specialist, bought flowers at the hardware store, got a hair cut, had a great Mexican food lunch and a Margarita, and took a short nap.

Had a great meeting at work, won an incentive bonus ;) - then off at noon to start the holiday weekend. Came home and had a short nap, now just enjoying the evening.

Worked out in the yard and garden.

Drove up to a family gravesite and watered the flowers there.

Took a short nap.

Went to Wal Mart to get a few things, then back home to do laundry.

My accomplishment today was completing my work week.

I accomplished not getting out of my pajamas today and that's saying a lot for me

I redeemed myself from total laziness. I am on call for work. I received a call that one of the van doors on a ramp van would not close. They van would not shift into drive because of the door. I call our maintenance guy thinking he would go deal with it. Nope. All I got from him was that it's happened before and that there is a piece you need to push back in. :blink: I get there and look it over. I'm down on the ground in my floral/zebra print baby doll dress and I asked the staff to get me a screwdriver. She snickered and said to another staff, "Angela, the mechanic, needs a screwdriver." I only wanted it because my fingers weren't long enough to feel inside the sliding mechanism. Then I was told by the snickerer that she had already looked everything over. She made a comment about me being down on the ground in my dress. (My legs were still crossed, some people are so catty)

Guess what? I fixed it. In my dress, with my glitter eyeshadow...*flexes*

Fold 2 loads of clothes
Washed my bed clothes, waiting on them to dry
Made supper for my parents

Now have another load to wash
Thats about it, took most of the day cooking

yesterday was a quiet day for the most part. I mowed the lawn and made pizza and prepped for tonight's dinner. I enjoyed the galette last time I made it I decided to make it again..only difference is that I used a vegan mozzarella instead of vegan gouda cheese.

today, I went to my dr's appt, gave Winnie (Syd's sister) a hair cut, cleaned the bathroom because of the mess I made cutting her hair, steam cleaned the down stairs rugs, cooked the galette, and took a shower.

went to the store, made a few dishes to munch on later, cleaned the kitchen, mopped, steam cleaned the main level, and gave abby (the littlest dog) a bath.

Worked at the kennel this morning, came home and cut grass, got oil changed in car, gave my spouse her shower, did wash and hung on line, poured meds, cooked, cleaned bathrooms. :hangloose:

Applied for financial aid

Got put on the right path for all the rest of the stuff I need to do

Attended a mandatory allied health info session in order to get the big ball rolling

I got hella stuff done at work. I like leaving on a Friday and having minimal stuff left on my desk. It makes Monday a little less of a "day".

I filled the dehydrators, one with strips of beef for jerky and the other with shredded carrots. I also got two rutabagas peeled and cut into fries and put up in the freezer, did a load of laundry, prepped dinner, trimmed Sadie's nails and got some work done on a project.

I made it to work before 3am and managed to not fall asleep at any point today. That is a success considering I am not sleeping well and working over 70 hours a week

I had a training today ...then did laundry, ran to the store, took the dogs for a ride, made dinner, and now chillin

Boiled a dozen eggs, made deviled eggs
Prepped a rack of ribs, cooked them
Cut up a family pack of wings and packed em for the freezer
Cut up a watermelon in cubes to refrig
Went to Mom's to pull the meat off of her Boston butt so she could make BBQ

Crumbled up my egg shells and sprinkled the in the mater buckets
Watered garden
I think thats all. Took me all day to do this little bit of stuff, but I'm getting my wind back in my sails.

got up..let the dogs out and fed them. crawled back into bed. I just didn't want to get up. Slept a bit more. Got up again...let the dogs out and got dressed.

Mowed the front and back yard.

Went to the pick up groceries and put them away.

Took a shower, and took Abby the smallest dog to petco (the others were not thrilled I left them behind, but I can only handle bring one at a time there).

Steam cleaned the main level and lower level (because when you have a dog with health issues and who wears doggie diapers spillage happens..so, I steam clean a lot).

Made pasta salad and worked in the garden.

Now, I am just chillin because my body feels like it's falling a part.

67 days since my injury, today was able to step up in my truck with my left foot. HUGE accomplishment, because that is the only way to step up on yhe forklift is onbthe left side.

as Rhianna says.. work, work, work, work, work. Not necessarily the kind she is doing in that vid though. :|
