Waiting in line at the grocery store, and a mother and child were ahead of me, You could tell the woman was stressed as her son kept saying Mom, mom, mom, we need cereal, Mom, Mom, we need pencils. Finally she gets to the cashier and she rings them up, and the cashier tells the woman it's $72.54 The woman starts digging through her purse looking for her wallet. The others behind me start mumbling and pacing. So I slide my card and sign and smiled and said have a blessed day, The woman looked shocked and said she can't except it, I said, you must, it's your, enjoy the rest of your evening.
The cashier woman looked at me and said you sure blessed many people day... Spirit works in many ways and smiles are the best... |

Stopping on the spur of the moment at the goodwill trying to find some work winter shirts didnt have any but what I did find made my day
I have always wanted a London Fog trench coat. I found one with the tags still on it. Got it for $12. I love it cant wait to wear it. |

Doctor referral. Going to get this baby ball rolling! Talking with sister about what we should start stockpiling/buying early and how we should look around Craigslist and such for baby furniture so we don't go broke having to buy every.single.thing brand new.

2 things
1. I woke up feeling so good and refreshed ... amazing what proper amount of sleep can do for one's body! 2. I found my missing new denim sock. This morning I went outside to admire my handiwork on a fence panel. Still dark, I wore my headlamp light. There it was on the ground. Thankfully no chew holes. I see Kelly has gone back to old habits. This dog has not stolen any of my stuff in such a long time, thought that was a phase gone past. Unfortunately not! Sock thief! She did not see me put it in my pajama bottoms pocket and was out there looking for it in front of me. Shameless, I'll tell you! I should be thankful ... at least this time it was not my boxers scattered all over the backyard. And you know what loud plaid colors Hanes puts in their little 3-package deals. :) |
Progress. That's one of many things that has kept me smiling the last several days. Long conversations, realizations, destinations, trials & tribulations.

My mother's pit bull....
She was pacing and doing her frustrated whine thing....and I thought she needed to go out....but she just wanted to get up on the couch with me to cuddle..... :) She is just the biggest, sweetest snuggle bunny.... <3 |

The nurse who casted my broken foot taking 5 minutes to explain to me why the foot hurt MORE with the cast then before the cast without patronizing me. I really appreciated not being belittled because I felt like a dork whining. :bunchflowers:
