Had my 3 year anniversary in TX today I am so grateful I came here I have learned so much, grown as a person, found love and goodness in my life and discovered my vocation of teaching.
I am grateful for my good friend Leanne she is always a positive loving presence and a willing partner in crime! |
for yesterday...
i was able to spend a long in a library-my first time in OK! a child asked if i would play puzzles with her *smile*. (i did.) other patrons and i chatted about what we were reading. despite the 2-book rule when you first get your card, the librarian let me check out about 12 books. i inhaled the blessed scent of bookdust. quietness and peace reigned like they should in a well-run library, with underlying soft murmurs of patrons and pages being turned and keys being tapped. ah, the library, haven of peace and booklover's comfort!

Without them I would be a shell of a person. Because of them I'm as mellow as can be most days. |
I am thankful that I am under control....real control of my BPD. I have learned the signs, and when I began to slip into an episode this morning I was able to stop with minimal damage done.
I don't have delusions that I am "ok", but I know that I have the tools to live "ok" with my BPD. For THAT I am really very thankful. |

Thankful for having great health, never feeling my age. Still feel like I'm 18. Thankful I live in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has been good to me. Thankful for all my fun toys, and friends to share them with. Thankful for the wise choices I make . I love my life and I wouldn't want to be anyone else. |
I'm thankful for a roommate that can safely and quickly navigate the wet country roads to get me home fast (without hitting any deer) when I wasn't feeling well. |

For my body, in which every part works as it should and carry me through life. Great friends, near and far, old and new For an education. Many women are not so fortunate.
