My favorite professor in college used to spell my name Nekohl. Why I do not know, but I liked it and so it became my online name.
And this year I put it on my license plate :)

I am an Okie I love to fish and their is a fishing lure called an Okiebug then 1961 is the year I was born hence Okiebug61

On other sites I used a pen name I'd come up with (Jasmine Blade), for the herb/flower I associated with and for sharpness and clarity, things I hoped would help in my writing career. When I found this site, it had been years since I'd been to a bf site and decided to grow a bit. I'd dumped the pen name years ago but I'm still a writer, still a femme. And there you have it. :)

I put a ton of thought into mine. I'm butch and i'm Irish.

My screen name from the old dash site was taken, so I used my old livejournal user name instead- it's one of my favorite MAC lipstick colors.

My Name means I am not looking back I am going forward, stronger, harder, I am leaving all of the past where it belongs in the past. Those chapters have been closed and there's a new world, and vision in life that will soar always moving forward.

My original screenname for Yahoo is Zimmyglrl. A name, that I used when I joined the dash site in 2007 and one that I used when joined this site in 2009. I came up with the name, because I was a huge Marilyn Manson fan in the 1990's and the guitarist at the time was Zim Zum. When I went to the reunion this year, Medusa renamed me to Zimmeh, which was thought of in the middle of the night on Saturday after we all had been up for awhile. I guess it is from the TV show, South Park, when Cartman would yell, "Timmeh" and she changed the T to a Z. I no longer feel that Zimmyglrl is a good fit and I am actually enjoying it, so thank you Medusa!

I love this column and thread - what a great idea!!! Some I know remember the movie "LadyHawk" made in early 1980 w/Michelle Pfeiffer (gorgeous, hot) and Rutger Hauer (friggin gorgeous, too, and yes, hot) and a young Michael Broderick (who marries Sara Jessica Parker later in life) who is adorable as "Mouse"... anyway - the love that endured even after a terrible curse has been placed on them for eternity - never touching, only passing and love still finds a way. Always Together and Never Apart. So, there ya go. Now, you know where my screen name comes from the Rest of the Story!

My very first butch bf gave me this name ( 16 yrs old)...You figure it out. P.S. I HATED it so hy called me HP unless hy wanted to get a rise out of me ! ( shortened to Honey )

In 1689, I was caught stealing bunnies from an old woman who lived down the lane from our cottage. She was a crass and wicked thing, and true to her nature placed a curse on me for the next 100 years, that I should take the form of a rabbit every fortnight, promptly at 8.

The tender-hearted people of my village, having taken pity on me (for I only wanted to love the rabbit, and care for it as if it were my own child), affectionately called me 'Deirdre-Bunny'.

Well, the name stuck, and 323 years later it still suits me, though the actual curse has long since past.

I wanted soemthing that sounded fluffy, helpless and bland. :rrose:

When I first found the dash site I was new to internet boards, and all of the women seemed to be named "Lady" something or other, so I chose "lady Cyn" which is part of my first name. Then after being around a while I realized I was no lady...LOL...and I wanted something light but with an edge. Tinker Belle is a naughty fairy, hense Tinkerbelly. I added the Ms. here at the Planet, as Tinkerbelly was already in use :|

My nickname was always Pink or Pinky. I'm a bubbly kinda' girl so I just tagged on Tickled to the Pink, and, there ya' have it. :jester:

i chose it because i like the way it sounds and if you are not in germany it has an international air of mystery

but it is a pain to spell

A few years back I took a Human Sexuality class and we had to come up with original names for the professor's website that related to sex talk. I had just discovered the term stone as pertaining to who I had been for many years. I mean I knew who I was and what I wanted but didn't know there was a name for it... and well, I was ready to play... hence the 4play. But the 4play is a play on words and can also be foreplay which... ehem.. I also like!! It was also my name on b-f...

When I first started on the sites ten yrs ago Kimba was used to I added the y and lrf because I thought it would be unique.
