Welp, I suppose my mother is REALLY in the minority this year with the kid now away in the Army. I don't think TF will be making turkey this year for one person! Sorry, Mom (actually, TF would, but I am sure mom is fine with skipping it).

Yes, that was the day I was no longer so keen on turkey.

-smh-

(no offense to you turkey eating folks).

Yes, no free turkey at the supermarket for them.

Celebrating with turkey and sides and Turtle Pumpkin Pie, and a menorah, with daisy and our cats...trying to keep them off the table. ;)

Tom Turkey has a pardon form me this year, one of my pool playing buddies gave me a haunch of venison,so I will be haveing deer roast for dinner. After I finished processing it I have a lot of steaks and a fue roast.I will cook it slow and long in the smoker well seasoned then tighly wraped in foil so when it comes out of the smoker it will be tender and juicy..can't wait.

Wipe the drool from my lips

Every time you talk about cooking, it always sounds so friggin delicious! I will be in California visiting my buddy FR, who doesn't like turkey, so I am cooking a ham and scalloped potatoes. Canadians have turkey for Christmas, anyways, so I will be doing a dinner for the family in Dec.

hugs all
