July is for the Oak Moon..
rarely, do I offer magic..but these are exceptional times...here is a little magic with goodness weaved thru-out
find two acorns, one (who speaks to you for healing) another (for drawing sickness and melancholy) Stand under a (kindly) Oak tree. With your arms extended with an acorn in each hand. Visualize healing flowing into you from the acorn picked for that purpose. Thank the Goddess and the acorn. Now, Visualize any malady (you currently have), being contained in the other acorn chosen for this purpose. Thank the Goddess and this acorn. Bury the acorn that contains your weakness under the Oak tree. Carry the other as a Talisman. |

late August..
is the time of the Corn Moon, also known as the Barley Moon. It's the beginning of Harvest and a beautiful time to celebrate with the bounty from your garden. The making of bread is as ancient as we are. This is the perfect time of year to create a loaf from your kitchen to be enjoyed by your household..Sing a song of joy as you make it and wrap everyday goodness into the dough. Bake it and serve with homemade jam, and a soup made from vegetables collected from your garden..The Moon is almost full and it's almost time to braid your onions The braiding of onions is one of the best ways of storing them for winter's use. Don't forget weave a few for the sick room to taken out if someone come's down with a cold or a flu bug - hang it in the room. It will absorb much of the negativity. Do remember to weave these onions within the circle with a prayerful song-Blessed Be~

love spells

Today I was just outside with my dogs in the backyard and saying my morning devotions to the Goddess and enjoying the rain. Usually my dogs hate the rain and do their business and run back inside the house, but this morning even they seemed interested in watching me commune with nature. I have been having a lot of butterfly interactions here lately and this morning a big yellow one was there, flitting about in the rain. I felt happy, calm, and very peaceful. I kept remembering "Let go and let Goddess".........

Happy Mabon!
|
I love Mabon because it means we are that much closer to Samhain!
|
Although, I myself am not a witch, (but always a spiritual seeker)....
I do find the communion between witchcraft and nature to be very beautiful and inspiring. |
I hope everyone had a Blessed Mabon.

Samhain~

This year, for almost 13 months, Jupiter is in my sun sign. I am so ready for the abundance. According to the Tarot, this is the time for financial and personal gains. Next year, Jupiter is in my money house, which is also my ascendant. Looking forward to a great two years ahead.
Sorry I missed posting, I hope everyone had a Blessed Mabon. Bring on Samhain! |
