The President just kicked us in that last scuffle. AND his face is animated. Lively.

But stop reducing everything to growth. EVERYTHING is not about growth. Get fucking human.

gaea 10-16-2012 08:14 PM

well John Q Middleclass pays for everything and we will continue to do so.....all the donations romney makes we ultimately pay for...

I would like to stab my ears when romney speaks....

However obama isn't really doing much better.....

Reader 10-16-2012 08:15 PM

Romney is street-fighting while Bam is debating and getting a bloody nose.

Bam is losing, sorry to say.

Bam can lose the debate, I'm voting for him either way.

Martina 10-16-2012 08:18 PM

Romney just looked like a dithering idiot re Benghazi -- even though he was not wrong.

It also took Candy's assist. But it's still a nice moment. Clearly Obama enjoyed it too, which was good to see.

Obama does have taste for blood.

Medusa 10-16-2012 08:19 PM

Holy Crap. President Obama's face when he told Romney to "continue...".

:|

That was cold rage.

Scuba 10-16-2012 08:22 PM

Mitt needs a better hairstylist...his head looks lopsided :| I can't seem to focus on what he's saying because of his hair :|

princessbelle 10-16-2012 08:23 PM

OH i'm walking the floor, as usual during debates. At this point, i totally think President Obama is winning this debate. For one simple fact....HES TELLING THE TRUTH.

Problem being i'm afraid peeps won't KNOW it.

BUT, the President is doing wayy better this time. He's articulate and calling Romney out on a lot.

So far...i'm VERY happy.

The_Lady_Snow 10-16-2012 08:23 PM

Say whut?

Mitt's answer- marry teenagers:|

UofMfan 10-16-2012 08:26 PM

Bam? Wow, ok.

I personally like to refer to the President by his proper name, it shows the respect that a President has earned.

I think Candy is doing a good job, in spite of Romney's insistence on trying to bully, which he does so well.

I think President Obama is winning, not only with the facts, but he finally showed some passion regarding the attack on the American Embassy in Libya.

girl_dee 10-16-2012 08:27 PM

blah blah blahhhh blahdy blah!

Scuba 10-16-2012 08:30 PM

The reason Canada can afford tax breaks to businesses is because they're not spending all of their money on pointless wars and their military. We'd have money too if that were the case...

Exactly...

Reader 10-16-2012 08:32 PM

Bam keeps losing each battle. Hope he can still win the war. Damn.

Nomad 10-16-2012 08:32 PM

i'm fascinated by Romney's comment that we should be trying to "convince 2 people that they ought to get married before they have a baby."

no comment on the fact that women have to scrape tooth and nail to get birth control covered by their health insurance policy while Viagra and Cialis are routinely available to men.

no mention that Obama care (which Mitt loves to hate) is freakishly similar to the Romney care currently available in MA.

no mention about the people who dont have the right to legally marry before having children

and many sincere kudos to Obama for being man enough to say "yours is bigger than mine".

i predict that last comment will be the favorite phrase of the 2012 election season wind down. i think i'll find a reason to say it every day.

I agree that he's winning.

He's done well at countering Romney, which he neglected to do last time, and Romney's getting flustered.

Romney's also making an ass out of himself by interrupting, using words like "illegals", and talking about his binders full of women that need to get home by five pm to cook dinner :|

princessbelle 10-16-2012 08:35 PM

And my opinion....

Are you talking about President Obama? Who is Bam?

If that is who you are talking about....i disagree. I think he did wonderful and gave truthful answers.

I totally think he kicked ass tonight.

i'm thrown that you keep calling him *Bam* and i'm not seeing him losing this, every time Romney speaks it wreaks of gross and pathetic privilege bullshit to me.

Nomad 10-16-2012 08:39 PM

he was a missionary so he should be president?

he "saved the Olympics" so he should be president?

he cares about 100% of the citizenry (a proven lie given his opinion of 47% of voters who consider themselves "victims") so he should be president?

he believes in G*d so he should be president?

he wants people to have access to citizenship through military service despite the fact that he didnt serve so he should be president?

:seeingstars:

really?

i might also have to start quoting Romney by saying that i have "binders full of women". along with "yours is bigger than mine", i think i've got the makings of a real conversation starter.

Obama = presidential boot shoved clear up a privileged ass

Romney = epic fail
