I quit smoking when cigarettes went from 89 cents a pack to $2 a pack. There was no way I was going to spend $2 on a pack of smokes. Now they are $10-12 a pack. Glad I quite when I did.

The only "doll" my pre-teen butch self really liked to play with (OK, I did like Barbie's kid sister Skipper, too -- she was cute). I still have ol' Captain Action stored away but Skipper got lost somewhere along the way.

This was one of my mothers favorite torture devices.. putting ALL of my very STRAIGHT hair in these, for days before a holiday.

This was a show in Honolulu it was called Captain Honolulu

baseball cards with the gum in them, bazooka bubble gum and those other ones with the comics in them, cabbage patch dolls, matchbox cars, Gi Joes and Transformers, Garbage Pail Kids, Pogs ..

the best cartoons evahh! .. and doing chores every Saturday morning too. :p
