Wow, what a season. Was totally shocked (and oddly satisfied) with the ending...

Won't give any spoilers (because that would be... "rude" ;) ) except to say that my all time favourite is this lady right here:

I saw an interview with Kate Mulgrew, the actress who plays Red, where she talked about the reaction that fans had to the series and she said "It's an exploration of women at their very best and at their very worst and at their most genuine. What could be better than that?" I think that sums up a large part of the appeal of the show quite nicely for the women I know who watch it. It feels authentic in a way that a lot of other shows do not.

she has 3 male friends over, I'm sitting on the porch and the reflection of the TV is on the terrace doors and by golly...what do I see OITNB.

I chose Poussey because - hello, the name. And, she's hot as hell and looks like the coworker I fell in love with last summer, the one that sent me down this rabbit hole in the first place.

Plus, I really liked seeing her backstory in Season Two. Finally, she was the only one who had the cajones to stand up to - and to stand alone against - that crazy-ass psycho bully (can't remember her name).

Well, it is 4:30AM...here sounds from daughter's room and she is still watching OITNB on her computer. Did what any good mother would do and crawled into bed and watched with her. So fun. OITNB is a bonding experience, lol

Wow, I had no idea. For some reason i wasn't even sure if they would be doing another season.

Has there been any mention of Alex in the media on this? Will she be more involved? She is my favorite and adds an extra touch to the show that I don't think is there otherwise.

Now that I am thinking about it, I don't even remember how the season ended. Will have to catch up on netflix (assuming it is still on there).
