I'm not a get up and go person. I wake up about 3 hours before I have to leave for work. Sometimes I lay in bed an entire hour before I get out of it. I often run downstairs start the coffee and walk back upstairs and crawl under the covers for 20 minutes while it perks. Perhaps because it's still winter.

We have similar routines! After having my wake up time back in bed with coffee I like to have time to do things like make/start dinner or do some laundry before I go in to work. Do not like having to just run out the door without some home/nesting time.

On the theory that " it's always darkest before the dawn", I get out of bed pretty quickly after I wake up. Otherwise I lie there having gloomy thoughts about the world going to shit.

A stiff hit of caffeine and a banana ( life giving potassium) clears up the worst of that...at least until i turn on CNN.

I'm with Wolfy—I'm a slow mover in the mornings and am awake in the bed for at least an hour before getting up.

I am out of the bed as soon as I realize I am awake. I also fall asleep almost immediately upon going to bed at night. I never have been one to stay in the bed while awake, unless I am sick, or there is someone giving me sweet reason to linger in bed a while. :love1:

MsTinkerbelly 03-02-2017 09:10 AM

I get up as soon as my eyes open, but I am not awake. I have to feed the pets and sit down with my coffee before my brain forms logical thought. I could also roll out of bed and get into the shower to wake up, but I prefer the coffee method.

I do not linger in bed unless occupied, or sick...I get twitchy and toss around.

I'm an highly disciplined type of individual. I don't know why though, unless it's because of the social structure of sibling duties and responsibilities, which many were delegated to me, from a very young age. It's typical of me to oversee many projects to completion, while bringing on board new duties, then that sort of cycle keeps going until ..... I just need to take time off. Which isn't always easy for me to do, to take time off. Weirdly, I've gotten better at letting go, over the years.

That is so cool! Both of my parents are French

i have a side business officiating weddings. Totally out of my comfort zone, but I love it! I still almost pee myself right before each one starts.

I am so happy to be officiating LEGAL marriages for our community!

remembering Chad

I remember Chad at the Reunion. I think we bumped into each other in the hospitality suite!

homoe 03-02-2017 07:35 PM

I ran into someone from this site a couple times on a city bus in Seattle!

WolfyOne 03-02-2017 07:42 PM

For those that don't know me, I have a 74% hearing loss in one ear and 66% in the other.

Thank you for remembering me. I wonder if I look the same now? I have changed a bit over the years. See my gallery photo it is current.

You have not changed. My gallery pic was taken a couple of years ago. I am sure I have aged by now!

This I remember. Your face was always tucked behind the camera, my friend.

I, too, am not a fan of having my picture taken.
