What do I enjoy...
Sometimes I really enjoy being up most of the night and into the early morning so I can do some research related to my work, read uninterrupted, simply sit and think, listen to the soft jazz playing, drink as much wine as I choose, rereading my favorite butch/femme novel (it gets better each time I read it), and thinking on all the ways my life has been enriched by others. I like to hear the outside world awaken. Knowing there is another beautiful day ahead if I choose to make it so.

I enjoying laying in bed on a cold winter day, cold air drifting into the bedroom through the open window while I lay warm in my bed, covered with a blanket, chest to toe, breathing that cold air into my lungs, and just, relaxing.

Sitting on a mountaintop that's over a mile high, basking in the sun while freezing my tail off in 25 degree weather, contemplating and drawing strength from this beautiful creation that is our home. I love doing this, even in cold weather. It grounds me and I find much peace.
