I joined my daughters and ex-husband for lunch at an Indian restaurant before my older daughter went to the airport to fly home to Tampa. I had nan, palak, dal, chicken, salad, kheer, and other assorted goodies from the buffet of paradise. yummm....

Late lunch eaten outdoors with a special friend...TCBY Fro Yo (mine mostly chocolate but a little vanilla, coffee and cheesecake just to try), wonderful conversation and lots of laughter...

It was Sonic to the rescue: one chili dog for me and two Chicago dogs for my Windy City native honey, chili cheese tots and a large cherry limeade later and we both were full 'n happy critters.

I am back at school and had a cup of vegetable/orzo soup and a hearty salad: white beans, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, parsley and garlic (lots of both), a small cup of fresh strawberry yogurt for dessert.

So far just a Garden Goodness fruit & veggi smoothie and a gluten free blueberry breakfast bar. Maybe a salad or a chicken sammich in a while.

My boss bought lunch! Pizza (pepperoni, black olive and mushroom), cheese breadsticks and soda. It wasn't healthy but it sure was good.

Trying a new spread today, it's called Tofutti - Better than cream cheese. I bought the garlic and herb kind.
Chicken sandwich on a thin sliced whole wheat bagel smeared with a little of the above then nearly an entire salad's worth of spring greens piled on to finish it off. Oh and a little extra sharp cheddar, with Kalamata olives on the side. Not too shabby! |
