Those who tell tales of how they live their life and then it changes as the situation changes.

Don't ya think we will remember????

3 types of turn offs…

1) Not sure how to articulate this particular type of a huge turn-off, but it turns me off when I hear veiled threats, the type of talking to others that seems like one-up-manship, or the type of verbiage that is insulting to me or others.

I quit my Facebook acct years ago because of noticing this type of verbal behavior by others in their f.b. Posts.

2) Another thing that turns me off is manipulation tactics. Just don’t do it.

3) Another thing that turns me off is perceived superiority. Superiority complex issues is a huge turn off.

Maybe it's just me, and these weren't even in a dating situation. If I spot these upon meeting, there wouldn't be a date! I have too much football to watch.

1. "Then she was like…And then I was like…So He was like….and then I was like…". I'm sure there are 15 year old's who speak without using "like". I'm talking people my age!

2. "Oh, I'm too old to learn ______". I know people younger than I am who are old, and people many years older than I am who are up for anything. Guess who I'd rather hang out with?

3. A cousin to #2 is: "I'm just not good with math/not a computer nerd/athletic/ artistic/smart enough for *whatever*/insert denigrating statement here. We're all not good at everything, obviously, but I respect people who try something new. How do you know you're "not good"?

4. Any excuses, though I have to work on this myself. That's why I want someone dedicated to owning themselves, not excusing themselves.

A woman that has no idea what is going on in our country or internationally for that matter. I prefer someone knowledgeable and with an opinion.

Instant Turn Offs

Those who send vague messages cryptically.

Those who speak in innuendoes.

kittygrrl 01-22-2024 03:27 PM

know what you want enough so that you aren't tempted to change it...displaying such weakness with a femme is a catastrophe ...

Big things …., Possessiveness makes me cringe. Its twin is jealousy. If I sense someone carries these swords into a relationship, past or present, I am uninterested.

I know my worth. I am a good woman. If I wasn’t being treated as such, that would be very distasteful.

Little things…. Not brushing teeth or any poor hygiene, rolling their eyes, and poor manners

kittygrrl 01-28-2024 01:39 PM

Mediocre .....

Stone-Butch 01-28-2024 09:19 PM

Turn offs

Being judged by a few words on paper after having never met that person.

kittygrrl 01-29-2024 02:05 PM

Don’t get me wrong, I like coffee. But it’s knowing that there might be super creepy people who drink coffee and stare at pictures of women who are half dressed in revealing clothing — which to me, screams “Y U C K O.”

I find this type of behavior a huge turn off because in American media we already are inundated with this type of very abnormal behavior (ie, the orange cheato, etc).

If you're referring to My coffeebreak thread why not come out in say it Kat instead of passive aggressive smack? If i'm yucko to you so be it..but i DON't judge people for their tastes, only their cruel uncalled remarks. That's what Trump does, and it's surprising coming from you. Disappointing actually

This happened this morning while waiting in line at a local coffee shop.

I’d appreciate it greatly if you did not make assumptions like this.

Thanks.

Give me a break Kat, cop out if you want to but it's obvious that's what you meant and you made your point. Nobody is forcing you to look in Coffee break. It's a free country to be as narrow minded as Trump, just admit that's who you are, i'd at least respect owning your truth. If you don't want to follow the TOS that's up to you, but don't try to gaslight me..It's not cool
