It was a little cooler than the past couple of days but still beautiful. The sun was shining and there was a nice breeze plus Phil didn't see a shadow. Spring is around the corner!
|
hot outside today, tornado and severe storm warnings this afteernoon ... I came home during lunch and put Jennifer and Kevie inside ... wanted to make them as safe as possible
.. nothing happened here so far |
50 and clear outside right now, it was beautiful earlier today
|
It rained from about 3pm yesterday to about 11pm and then it picked up again before I woke at 6 something. It's supposed to rain all morning. It's in the 50s though and my car is getting washed, so I can't complain.
|
Winter weirdness continues. The past 4 days have brought sun and temps in the high 50's to high 60's. Tomorrow, a winter storm watch is in effect. |
By Sunday it will be 80* here.
My fish were in hibernation, then it got warm and they came out of it, then the nights were freezing and they went back in....this is crazy el nino time peeps! |
Weather Report
54 degrees and sunny in central Texas. We will drop into the low 30's tonight.
|
50 degrees and slightly cloudy. It feels downright balmy.
|
Yesterday it went from record 64* to 39* in a matter of hours.Tomorrow expecting snow. This rollercoaster can stop any day now....:|
|
On a guess I would say it's something like 55* at the moment, the sun is shining with some clouds.
|
The weather's kind of crazy but I prefer the up and down versus the getting slammed every weekend like last year thing.
Rain tonight, turning into rain and snow and snow showers between midnight and 5am-ish. Providence is getting between 3-8 inches of wet, heavy, slushy snow and we're scheduled for about 3 inches here. |
47 and mostly clear right now near Houston
|
I'm sorry. We're now in the 5-12 inch range for snowfall and it started about an hour ago.
 |
It's so cold in northern Florida I'm farting feckin ice crystles!!!!
|
Cold
It's 45° [f]
I'll be so glad when summer returns. Even if it's crazy hot, I'd rather have that than this cold weather. I am not a happy camper when it's cold. |
It's 31* In the sunny south at 7:30a.m. Every day gets closed to spring and summer, I can't stand to be cold but the summers are hot but doable.
|
It's snowing on the Peninsula!!!!!! They are saying 1-3 inches and turning to rain by this afternoon. I am anxiously awaiting SUMMER!:jester::jester:
|
Weather Report
It was 23 degrees at the ranch this morning. Now it is 60 degrees and sunny in central Texas.
|
31* with a dusting of snow, feels like 27* sunny and calm winds. I'll take it. Any day I don't have to shovel is a good day.
|
I took shoveling duty this time, Corkey. I stopped counting at 7 inches but it's hard to count when some of it is soft and some of it is squishy with water.
The plows came for a few hours and left, a LOT more snow fell and now it looks like a mushy, fluffy snow graveyard. It's about 30 now and will drop to the mid teens tonight. Tomorrow will be sunny, so there will be melting. |
Most parts of Washington State are under high wind warnings for the next two days!
|
Today will be 40 something, and sunny in Indy. Now I know for a fact that our planet is warming up! I have actually been seeing spring-time Robin red-breasts hopping around in the woods here, in NW Indiana, since Feb 4! Never, never , happened here so soon on Lake Michigan! I even heard some song birds singing, and watch them building nests. I have not even shoveled snow yet this winter, or scraped ice off my windshield. The lake isn't even frozen! Unheard of! (I have been loving this winter btw :))
|
Apparently, Corkey is liking us and sharing again. Yesterday's snowfall is in the books. Todays sunshine and warm temps melted all the heavy, wet, frozen stuff on the trees and power lines. Was a good day to wear a football helmet while moving outdoors. Snow is predicted for Sun night thru Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Saturday. |
Wait til next week, I'll be sharing my ass off:hangloose:
|
Signs of spring were evident the last week of January.
Trees were budding, at the height of unusual rainy weather. Today, and for the better part of the week ahead, we have nothing but blue skies, dazzling sunshine, and birdsong. The arrival of birds typically marks the advent of spring --- something that happens generally in March, not the first week of February. Highs: 60's. Lows: mid to low 40's. |
It's in the 60'S but the nights was cold, cold enough to make my sore knee hurt like it was on fire, not a good feeling.

Blizzard warning in effect as of 4am. Glares at Corkey. Introduces Corkey to Kitty. Kitty does not like snow. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...51ed236337.jpg Slowly walks away while Kitty discusses snow with Corkey. Hehe. |

Tomorrow we're supposed to get somewhere between 5-12 inches and then Wednesday we're supposed to get more. Too soon to tell how much that should dump but looking at the maps, it could likely be another 6 inches or more. I foresee another early store closing tomorrow for my company. |
Ahhhh told ya', any day I don't have to shovel is a good day....:eatinghersheybar: Here kitteh puuuuurrrrrr.........:|

you love me, you know it. |
I always feel guilty posting our temps, which is why I rarely do.
Tonight 71 degrees. Tomorrow 82. I know, it is crazy. |
Currently 46 degrees and Mostly Clear
|
It's sunny and very windy with the temp at 32*. For a second I thought it was snowing till I put on my glasses to see it was some kind of fuzzy tree seeds blowing like crazy, so glad that's all it is.
|
Well, it looks like someone shook up a snow globe out there. Blizzard is here. Winds howling. Depth of snow, thus far, was deceptive, from the second floor, until the plow got here - thats a crapload of snow. And, what was to lessen by late afternoon has now been extended to some time during the night. :| I'm beginning to understand and appreciate why people from these parts head to Florida and Arizona for Feb and March aka I am getting too old for this. |
Arizona got snow this month.
Nowhere is safe. It says 'light snow' on one site and 'snow showers' on another for my area currently. They clearly have not looked out the window. I may be suffering from shaken snow globe syndrome. :vigil: |

Hawaii doesnt get snow right? |

Actually Hawaii gets a crapload of snow, one year 10 feet on Haleakala, in June....and Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa get snow most years. Lets face it they are all over 13 thousand feet elevation.....

Wow. Didnt know that. You spreading your love wide, far and high I see. LOL. I remember years ago, there was a study that said the perfect place to live, weather and otherwise was Grenada. Of course that was right before Reagan invaded it. :sunglass: |
