My little Lizzie bug...
She is in CNA school....she brought a ginormous adult brief home with her to practice on us all.... :blush: She held it up and states VERY vehemently... "THIS is a BRIEF....NOT a diaper!!" It has always irked me when people use the term diaper in reference to a grown adult who HAPPENS to have incontinence issues. I correct people left and right....(sometimes nicely sometimes not..) I'm SO proud of my baby for doing good things, and doing them right. I couldn't be happier that she is the sweet, compassionate, beautiful young woman that she is... Ok, I'm done braggin' on her....for now <3 <3 |

Thinking of the home made chicken parmesan and spaghetti made by ~KnightsBlade~ this weekend... Damn that was good... even if I did gain my pound and half back... it was worth it..

A few Christmases ago, I bought six tickets, front row, center stage to see a group of men sing. I took my son and his now-wife, my boss and her husband, and my wife. It was probably the best concert I have ever been to, and I was so happy to share with the important people in my life. And now, they have a new album, and tour dates, but I see Omaha isn't on the list :( . I'll try to make it to one of these concerts.

She did. Hearing her voice when she wakes up. Hearing her laughter. Listening to her talk. We talk about everything. Well, she mostly talks & I mostly listen. Lol. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Just the thought of her makes me smile. All day & all night. |
Feeling that someone took the time to know me enough to make my birthday weekend totally about me and everything that would make me happy! It was an awesome weekend but when I got home today I was overwhelmed by yet another surprise!

Waking to a kind private message from a friend here that I haven't had time to reply to but thanks bro
Hearing that I cleared the first two hurdles to getting my job so now I am a probationary hire able to work supervised until the fingerprint check comes back. So unless I am wanted some where I am unaware of or my double has gotten arrested somewhere I have my foot in the door at a very respected organization that works with the developmentally disabled. She did on more then one occasion today (f) The sound of the two dogs snoring as I lay here getting ready to call it a night. |

Smiling huge...
I'm involved with this show this week in which I've had to donate 6 dozen cookies. And having a chance to enter into the best tasting cookie contest, I found out today, I won that! I got to the show today, to see this huge blue ribbon on my booth. Oh, am I a happy girl! Carmel apple cookies! And.....that's not all! I just came back from my dentist office and my gums have improved greatly! no need for that procedure. Just waiting on my surgery to heal. My new smile is just around the corner! Can this day get any better? Wait! Why yes it can, I'm having shrimp for dinner! |
Me and my son won third place in the mother son bowling tournament!! We rule!
