I'm bumping because I'm a curious person. :)

lusciouskiwi 08-08-2012 08:37 AM

1. Even though there are so many babies that need adopting, I would love to have a child but I'm getting too old and have always thought that I'm infertile

2. I can't swim

3. I was accepted into a creative writing course but didn't take it up

4. my eyes are been described as bluish-grayish-greenish with a bit of yellow

5. When I was 18 my hair went completely red/auburn because of where we lived, when I came out my hair was elbow length and my gf was totally freaked out about being with a long-haired femme, and when I was 40 my hair started to go a bit wavy/curly - all my life my hair has been so straight that even if it was plaited all day within a short time it'd be completely straight again, and I have a lot of grey in it now but I'm going to keep colouring it until it's about 75% grey then I'm going to join the purple rinse brigade.

You wouldn't know ( but of course now you will lol)...

1. Even though I'm 1/2 Scandinavian & 1/2 Sicilian, I hardly ever own my Scandinavian heritage. (Because my features are dark, it doesn't usually come up anyway).

2. I love to watch a woman (mine) put her makeup on. Especially her eyes. I love the transformation, the movements, the way her attitude changes.

3. I'm a consummate procrastinator. I really need to work on that.
Tomorrow.

4. I'm almost always late (not on purpose). People that know me pad our appointments with an hour.

5. Other than trimming my mustache regularly, I don't shave as often as I should.

laruss 08-08-2012 10:55 AM

1. I had straight hair until I got divorced and my hair went curly. I call them my happiness curls.

2. I am never late, I am no longer 15+ minutes early, but someone would pretty much have to die for me to be late for something.

3. My background is Swedish, and that is one country I have not visited. Plus you wouldn't know it to look at me. Well you might question my fair skin with my dark hair.

4. I used to be able to drink anyone under the table and not even feel it and now I am such a light weight, one drink and I am tipsy... and horny. Ok maybe I am just horny all the time.

5. I am a huge proponent of following your passion and I teach workshops on that subject.

gotoseagrl 08-08-2012 12:05 PM

when people are mean to me at work, i still smile and tell them to have a nice day and apologize for whatever might have made them mad

i think the really old people i meet are as cute as the little babies and i like to take however much time they need even if it ticks off other people

i hate driving, but i love to travel so much

i'm scared of flying but i do it by myself and i love the window seat too

i'm simple ~ sometimes just seeing a view of the big mountains or ocean can completely heal my soul

1. I prefer to speak to a person face-to-face, rather than to talk on the phone...and may God help you if you put me on speaker.

2. I had a 12inch black mohawk in high school.

3. I loathe public scene-making.

4. Etiquette class was required in my junior high and high school.

5. I blush when I'm feeling emotional.

just.like.honey 08-08-2012 08:02 PM

1. I have lived a great life so far, not without it's share of challenges but I know how lucky I am. Optimism ftw.

2. I am anxiously waiting for Dr. Mario classic to become available on Wii. I stopped holding my breath awhile ago.

3. Sometimes, when the mood hits me, the moon and sun and stars align in a certain way... I lose all rational thought, give in and just eat a fucking hot dog.

4. I *never* match my bra with my panties or my bikini tops and bottoms.

5. I sleep with a nightlight and travel with one too.

Katniss 08-08-2012 09:28 PM

Well, since everyone else is....

1. I won first place in the "Powderpuff Derby" at the state fairgrounds when I was a freshman in college. (I drove my friend's custom Firebird).

2. I once secretly taught a new co-worker how to read so she could keep her job. (this is more a comment on the sad state of education than kudos to me.)

3. I am on my 3rd passport but a "nervous" flier to the point friends and co-workers will no longer sit next to me. Something about nail marks on their arms....

4. I love bananna flavored Laughy Taffy.

5. I currently have the Barbie doll "Katniss" from Hunger Games on pre-order with Amazon.. Have for 3 months now actually.

1) I hate talking on the phone. I actually have anxiety over it. This just developed in the past 2 years. I cannot talk long, when I do talk and everyone in my personal circle knows to text or email me instead. I have fallen apart after long phone calls and cried. Yeah. That bad.

2) I like going back in my mind, to the 70s and remember what it was like dating and fucking back then. Pre-AIDS. After free love. Lots of pot. Long hair. hip huggers. vans with scenic views on their side.

3) I just DONT know what to make of Honey Boo Boo

4) I picked the colors pink and green for my store's colors, not realizing they are the Planet's colors

5) a bird came into my bedroom this morning and woke me up. I cannot figure out how it got there nor why it came. I carefully cupped it in my hands and released it outside. twas a very strange thing...

May I have your roll-over minutes???? (just kidding)
What is a "Honey Boo Boo?" A doll? A new kind of ouch-less kid's bandaide?

Hope the bird visit meant good luck!

1) I quit high school my senior year with a full ride basket ball scholarship so that I could get a full time job to help take care of my family. I do not regret this decision. I got my GED day after my class graduated.

2) I went to college as soon as my life permitted it and payed my own way to do it. I only regret that I had to wait so long to do so and I am going to have to put it on hold again because my life requires that I do so. This will be a temporary thing after all the loans start to come due in 6 months so will return before that time.

3) I collect comic books all types, if I really like the series I buy two of a copy, one to read and one to package away to pass on to the next generation. I do not do it in order to resell them my collection will be handed down to the next generation when I die.

4) Although I am the biggest flirt there is I honor the women I am actually dating and do my best to treat them on here as I would in real life.

5) I am an emotional person but I do know how to control them and I am confident enough in who I am to display them when I feel them. I will walk away from a heated discussion or argument but tell the person that is what I am doing then I return and attempt to find closure for the situation.

- I became the live-in companion for my 78 year old great-aunt after her son passed away.
- I recently tried Lucky Charms for the first time in my 33 years.
- I am becoming more phobic of unusual things.
- I am an ordained minister in the state of NC.
- After analyzing where I was going in life I changed a lot of things to go in a completely opposite direction in order to achieve my dream, including putting my current tech school degree on hold in favor of art school.

1) I love ottomans. I still feel bitter regret that I didn't buy a vintage sixties black leather ottoman I saw at a street fair in the East Village a few years ago.

2) Sometimes on my lunch hour I walk around Tribeca stopping to pet any dogs I pass. Each dog I pet makes me feel happier and by the time I head back to the office I'm in a really good mood.

3) I love badminton and ping pong.

4) I love key lime pie, mojitos, blackened salmon, brussel sprouts and shrimp cocktail.

5) I didn't read a lot of 19th century literature till I was in graduate school, in my thirties.

Even the woman I've lived with for the last two years doesn't know these things about me.

I LOVE Tulip Poplar Honey ... the more dark like molasses, the better ...
I'm allergic to clover honey because of something in the clover

I saved a very tiny, very unique moth with beautiful light green and cream colored wings.. released it gently outside ... then grabbed the fly swatter to go on a rampage against all the other flying critters that have overtaken my kitchen from around the AC unit .....but that one little unique moth was so pretty I just had to set it free...

I am now fradie-cat scared to set foot in my kitchen without lights on.. after finding a baby copperhead snake.

I love giving a special someone a good back scratch with my long nails, seeing them arch their back and just about purr like a kitten, the goose bumps appear on their skin as I change from firm touch to a very light gentle trace ...not leaving a single spot untouched ...feeling them relax under my touch as the afterglow sets in... then have them cooo to me about how good they feel... that's one of my favorite ways to give attention

5- I don't like the words DUDE & DUDE! :p

That all for now

1. Sometimes I flatten and smooth out the wrappers of the Dove chocolates that have the little sayings inside, and then put them in a random page of one of the many books on my shelves. So, whenever I read a book I come upon a forgotten little note and it makes me smile. :nerd:

2. I couldn't read until the second grade.(not even for a second grader) I was tested for all sorts of learning disabilities but, they couldn't figure it out. Then one day the school called my parents in and almost angrily asked them why I could read on an advanced level all of a sudden. Turns out, little me just decided one day that I can read.

3. I created a vision board when I made a big change in my life a while back. It sits beside my bed and I look at it everyday to help me focus on what I want, and achieve it :)

4. I'm not a fan of microwave popcorn. I prefer to make it in a pot on the stove. Jiffy Pop over a fire is acceptable too.

5. I prefer dark polish on my toenails and light or no polish on my fingernails.

lusciouskiwi 09-08-2012 08:38 PM

1. I'm quite a sparkle fan and an excolleague and I always used to compliment each other.

2. I have a bright red pair of glasses with sparkles in them.

3. I used to have a pair of sparkle socks but they died and went to sock heaven.

4. I have a sparkle shirt in my wardrobe that I can't quite throw away.

5. I've never given anything sparkly to a butch, but that could change ...

My boys love electonic games but I do not like them much. I'd rather shoot a game of pool or play tip kik (foose ball) or throw darts or try to land an arrow on a stack of hay because there's something totally uncontrollable with holding a bow and arrow and making it go the right way.

I don't care too much for working in an office environment; I would much rather be outside, rain or shine or even if it's foggy or a snowflake kind of day.

I like stopping at tiny little antique barn-like places on the way to the beach to see what kind of things they might be keeping from yesteryear: I like finding old mason jars, trinkets, old post cards, ribbons, china cup and saucer sets or even strange forks and spoons.

I normally have a few fragrances I like to wear but lately I've been stuck on wearing Givenchy's "Irresistable". There's something about that fragrance and how it melds with my body chemistry (get tons of compliments every time I wear it).

I don't like to wash my hair too often. But I do, about two to three times a week - depending on how my hair is cooperating with me. I ran out of my favorite mousse which is a 'caviar' kind of mousse - a heavy like creamy stuff that makes my hair simply beautiful. I can hardly wait to buy a case of it, next time.

I was a vegetarian for years.
My favorite color is green
