Yesterday I bought a new battery for the truck, wiper blades, breakfast at my favorite Mexican restaurant, and new glasses. The glasses were a lot more expensive then expected. I learned that if I look like I am about to faint over sticker shock they will offer a discount :).

Yanz 09-12-2015 10:26 AM

As they say - the more you possess, the more you are possessed....

It's a safe bet I won't be buying anything for the next month - I'm busted, lol.
Good thing I am already blessed with everything I need.

:praying:

And if that runs out, there are always medical experiments, hahahahahahah.

A bottle goes a long way.

Yum Yum sauce

I answered you, I thought. It's the good sauce served in tandem with soy sauce you'll find at Hibachi and Japanese steakhouse restaurants and grills.

RockOn 10-05-2015 08:28 PM

Gemme, I have eaten this before but did not know what it was called. Goes good with about anything. I remember the first time I had it years and years ago at a friend's house. I put some on my plate and dragged everything I was eating through it before I stuffed it in my mouth. I found some during my lunch hour today. I love it! :)

A birthday card for my sister. It had a cougar on the cover, with earrings and eyelashes photoshopped in and said, Still hot.

An animal-print wrist thing with a zip pocket to put your ID and money in. She walks in the woods a lot. Also, it went with the cougar theme.

A box of Wheat Thins.

Yellow rice and halal chicken from a street vendor near the World Trade Center.

A picture frame.

Some pecans.

Time.

New electric kettle for work

Jesse 10-08-2015 06:57 PM

I bought groceries, and then went to Dollar General and bought tp.

This evening I bought a "new to me" camper top for my truck. The bed of my truck is 5' 9" wide and a full 8' long, so I plan to frame it out on the inside with a bed frame, some storage and a small kitchen area, (the kitchen is mostly for when it's raining...and dontcha know it always rains when you camp!) for camping until I can get a towable camper that I like. I already have a small fridge and a 2 burner propane stove.

I'm excited like a little kid the night before Christmas. :)

Bèsame* 10-09-2015 12:31 PM

Busy day, I hit many places..lol

Syringes and honey at the vet.
Pavers for my potted plants, stacking them up as a collection rather than have them all the same height, and more potting soil, Home Depot.
A jar full of vintage stamps, used my 50% off coupon at Micheals.
A Kegrig coffee storage unit, reg. $50, on sale for 29.99 and I had a $15 off coupon, I feel like almost a thief on that..lol
A teal, and a purple sweater, and a brown tie-dyed lounging gown.

And...half a dozen Pink Ribbon bagels from Panera. I wait all year for those!

PaPa 10-14-2015 04:00 PM

Today I bought myself a new customized HP laptop. Will ship to me next month! I can't wait to get it.

Jesse 10-14-2015 04:26 PM

My truck threw a big fit and was slinging oil everywhere! Guess she doesn't like the camper top.

A set of 4 intake manifold gaskets (because 1 of the 4 that I replaced last year was pinched and had a slight leak)
A Distributor O ring
Valve cover gasket
Oil sending unit
and $400 worth of labor.

Oh and a pizza for dinner because I am still without wheels until tomorrow.

Gemme 10-14-2015 05:53 PM

The Jiffy Steamer

http://bestgarmentsteamer.org/wp-con...nt-Steamer.jpg

I've been using clothes steamers for years and have owned many—usually the cheap models. I finally broke down and got the Jiffy steamer. It arrived yesterday and it's soooo good. It's well made, starts up quickly, and works well. Okay, I've had it for less than 24 hours and have only steamed a handful of garments, but I've owned Tobi, Rowenta, some off brands and none have worked as well as this one.

If you're shopping for a garment steamer, check out the Jiffy models. It doesn't look good, but it's well made.

grenade 10-22-2015 08:18 PM

A 64 oz. Iced Tea on my way to work.
I ordered a 20 dollar box of microwave popcorn from a coworker for her son's boy scout fundraiser.
6 yards of black shimmer organza
3 yards of baby pink shimmer organza
4 yards of hot pink shimmer organza
4 yards of silver shimmer organza
10 dollars of thread
4 decorative boxes (hat box, etc) paris themed
One little silver sparrow decoration. (I just like birds)

Then..

2 Eiffel Tower vases (I need more)
3 wooden Paris that I need to paint
A black canvas with The Eiffel Tower
A small mannequin with a black sequin dress
Supplies to build a chandelier
Black ostrich feathers
A pink framed picture that says "not all that wander are lost" that I will incorporate into one of my displays as my passive aggressive fuck you to any judgmental family members that may attend.
I can't remember the rest. I don't care to dig through the bags.

Gemme 10-22-2015 08:34 PM

More pet supplies and some groceries.

Kätzchen 10-22-2015 09:12 PM

I spent some money today by paying for my monthly rental fee, but plan to spend a little more money by this weekend. I plan to get my hair trimmed into a new style (a longer, stacked Bob + Hair treatment for my curly hair), then buy some new hair products and then go shopping for a trendy vintage winter coat + gloves and scarf.

Jesse 11-02-2015 02:59 PM

I bought yummy stuff from the grocery today. :byebye:
