sighing out ...feeling relief about my daughter
its just anxiety! She has had so many changes in her life recently, graduating from college, getting a job, moving from one house to another... and behind it all, what I have not mentioned here (and she is giving me permission to mention it now), is that she recently testified against someone who molested/raped her. He has lost his job (where he met her and his other victims) because she testified. She was the only one who would come forth. I am so grateful it is not a blood clot. I suspected it was anxiety. I am relieved that it is. I am proud of her for taking a stand against this man and for doing what was right, even tho it was hard to do. We can work on the aftermath. I am still so very angry that my body did not permit me to be with her in her time of need. But I am close enough now that she can just come over to be with me instead of me being states away. Thank god for that... thank you all for your kind messages of support. Please keep her in your prayers. She is one tough woman but even strong women need support... |

Last night I was in Walgreens getting a couple of photos printed and managed to get out of there without buying any junk food; stared at it; thought about it; left it in the store. Then I came home and made myself a hot dinner of eggplant parmesan from semi-scratch (eggplant cutlets, marinara and cheese all purchased at Trader Joe's) that took all of 10 minutes from start to table. |
ugggg this is suppose to be my off day but instead it is now my 8-3:30 day. When I go in to work this late I feel like half the day is gone.

Work...are we really going to pull this project off in time to launch everything at the end of October? summer vacations really concern me (mine included).

Emailed directions to resturaunt because we are meeting for the first time. Ordered Yellow Carnations since thats her favorite flower Reservations at an Italian Resturaunt. Since she loves Italian food... Hair Cut Check. Making my to do list before date night.... :) |
I'm wondering if my housemate is going to screw up the internet again when she resets the modem. Last time, it took me dragging a Seattle friend over here half the day to fix and that was after me constantly nagging her (the housemate, not the friend) about it for weeks.
I sincerely hope not, because I wouldn't do well in jail. :blink: |

I have a couple of options, gonna phone them tomorrow and see when I can get into talk to them cuz the sooner I get a letter of approval the better. Finally being able to go to get a post-secondary education, means that I will be able to have not just a *job* but a career ~ this will allow Me to get out on My own and FINALLY start living My life! I've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, and its finally here ........... all that hoping and praying finally paid off and I couldn't be more excited or happy about My future :) |
