Jesse 02-01-2017 01:13 PM

Started the day by paying the monthly bills over a cup of coffee, & renewing my BFP membership.

Started a fresh batch of Kefir water, and set the original batch up for it's second ferment with fresh blueberries and a slice of ginger added. Also ordered a Kombucha scoby because I managed to murder the one I was growing. :(

Walked 4 blocks down & back to the lawn guy's house to pay him for this month's lawn service.

Made a new batch of cayenne salve to send to a friend of mine.

Cleaned & organized the pantry.

Washed dishes & wiped down all of the kitchen cabinets

Got the bedsheets started in the wash.

Had a fun chat with a friend.

Hoping to get around to cleaning the floors, but that may happen tomorrow. :byebye:

candy_coated_bitch 02-01-2017 01:26 PM

Got dressed

If you lived closer I'd suggest starting a cleaning company. We'd be a dream team!

Jesse 02-01-2017 02:02 PM

Let's do it! Lol!

At one point, I worked for an office cleaning company, it was a breeze because we went in after the offices were closed for the day and ran through our routines with no one to bother us. Later, I worked for a place that cleaned kitchens and restaurants, it paid well, but it was a nasty job! But those experiences enabled me to learn a few tricks of the trade that make cleaning simpler and more organized.

I drove four hours to attend a two hour meeting then drove four hours home. The yucky part was getting stuck in Houston during rush hour traffic.

I am super happy to be home.

I sorted laundry

Gemme 02-03-2017 06:40 AM

So far, I've made my bed, made and ate my breakfast, wiped down the kitchen and got any and all loose plates and kitchen implements into the dishwasher, picked out my clothes for the day and now it's shower time.

I drove four hours to meet my team at the boat ramp, rode the boat around my project for four hours, then drove four hours to get home. It was 85 degrees and sunny on the bay.

It was a great work day.

I actually got some sleep last night at work...so....

I came home with the hope and desire to do some yoga and cleaning...then the nice man came and reminded me that I needed to pay my electric bill. Well...guess I shouldn't leave that bill to my daughter either...

so

I went to the bank and got money for the bill, paid it

did my recycling while I was in the area

stopped and did my bulkier items at the laundromat. I don't have a dryer and some things need drying.

I did 2 loads of wash and hung them out to dry at home

paid my phone bill

raked my front yard

did some general cleaning.

remembered to shower after all of that...

Gayandgray 02-14-2017 05:42 PM

Helped my spouse shower and took her to doctor appt. and then to get her hair cut. Cleaned house, cooked, medicated all the dogs, poured spouse's pills for the week, did laundry, got my clothes, toolbelt, etc. laid out for work tomorrow, showered, now I'm watching tv and posting on here.:hangloose:

Capturing the Confetti kitty to take her to the vet. I didn't have to chase or crawl or get scratched! Now that's an accomplishment!

Glenn 02-17-2017 01:52 PM

Because of a record-breaking warm winter here, a controlled burn in the woods only thirty feet away from my B&B, is scheduled to occur here in an hour. I set up and filled with water, a long row of large containers along the entire length of the B&B, plus put out two garden hoses, and then drove to my local fire station 3 miles away, explained to them how a "burn" only 30 feet away from my B&B is a little too close, and asked for an emergency phone number to call them direct.

Cleaning up some around my honey's apartment.

Making huge pot of soup to freeze so she has meals for a while.

A nap earlier today since I was up at 545am!

Going to get my honey in a while, so we can go to a local girl on girl game show premiere that we are one of the competing couples in, "How Well Do You Know One Another". I am so excited & think it will be a huge fun adventure...:).

Thus far, I've been fairly productive. I got up...always a good sign!...made my bed, got ready, ate and went to the gym, made my work deposit, came home and made brunch, watched a couple of shows, listened to some new to me music and now I'm perusing the web as I plan out the rest of my day and get the temperature in the house warm enough for my shower.

*Anya* 02-19-2017 12:19 PM

I woke up.

I ate breakfast.

As to anything else so far: zip, zero, nada.

JDeere 02-19-2017 01:53 PM

Not much, just laying in bed with a hangover. Ate some food and drinking Gatorade while watching endless episodes of forensic files.

Haha! I do this work every weekend. I am the only human on the ranch so I do it all from mowing to cleaning the house.

easygoingfemme 02-27-2017 07:25 PM

There was a big blowout last weekend at the music festival that I am one of the directors of when the general manager of a hotel that hosts part of the festival removed and refused our gender neutral bathroom that I had set up (with the approval of the event managers at the hotel)

Today, after a week of fighting back on multiple levels, I got it in writing and in contract that we will have two full size gender neutral bathrooms at their hotel during our festival next year.

I also kicked ass at my regular full time job all day.

Kenna 02-27-2017 08:50 PM

Several phone calls to coordinate future events. Made lunch for me and the boys.

Then I managed to get to-and-from two medical appointments safely today; a complicated PT visit and a kidney ultrasound.

Heated leftovers for dinner.
Took care of boys.
Got comfy for the night.

Medusa 02-27-2017 10:43 PM

Registered my car!
12,000 steps!
Smiled like a Cheshire cat!

Corrected Bella's insistence on eating my makeup sponge about a bazillion times!

Gayandgray 02-28-2017 06:59 PM

Worked, dinner, dishes, laundry, helped spouse shower, poured meds, smiled a lot.

Liam 02-28-2017 07:32 PM

I completed my usual first day off chores early in the afternoon, and have the rest of today and all of tomorrow to do whatever I wish. Yay!

SmoothButch 03-04-2017 08:44 PM

I successfully installed rear shocks on my vehicle.

Took a long walk next to the creek with my neighbor and her dog.

At work now making some overtime. A short easy night.

Soft*Silver 03-04-2017 09:54 PM

I helped bring home my new grand daughter from the hospital! Brought the mom and dad dinner. Loved up on my first grand daughter who is now almost three. It was a wonderful family day!

Soooo sweet! Love them all up and enjoy!

cinnamongrrl 03-11-2017 12:38 PM

Today I finished painting my bedroom...only a week after starting it...

I had to do all the top trim work and one corner

Then I washed both bedroom windows and their storms, screens, sills and frames

Vacuumed the bedroom with special attention to the edges and corners..

Cleaned up all the paint nonsense for now

Now need to get trash bags so I can get my daughter's things out of the closet and make room for my own.

Tomorrow I need to take apart my bed, paint the frame and move it into my new bedroom.
Its coming along. ..just slowly

Soft*Silver 03-11-2017 01:42 PM

absolutely nothing. I decided today, Saturday, would be a true day off. I work my butt off most days so I feel no guilt about this at all! LOL

pajama 03-11-2017 03:20 PM

Since it snowed, and is now mud, I didn't unload the dirt from the truck into my raised bed. But I did take apart the mountain bike I was loaned and got the new tires, tubes, and pedals ordered so I'll be ready for prettier days.

JDeere 03-11-2017 03:28 PM

Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher
Cleaned my room up a bit
Took a quick nap
Brought trash can up from street to side of house

easygoingfemme 03-11-2017 03:34 PM

  • Post office to return some items I purchased and changed my mind on.
  • Exchanged a dress for a better fitting size
  • Filled up gas tank on car.
  • Went to library to pick up books on hold.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Swept and mopped floors and washed windows.
  • Rowed 4 miles.
  • Made a big batch of turkey chili.

RockOn 03-11-2017 07:36 PM

Cut down all the azalea bushes on the front of my property. This time, I worked smart on the bushes. I have a lot of cable wire that I get from the cable company. They waste so much. They just throw it out.

Anyway, I tied each bush up really tight with the cable wire. Made it easier cutting with the chainsaw. The really big deal is I drag one huge wad of bush and throw on the truck. Less work and less bloodshed too!! WIN-WIN METHOD!!

Next I dug my trench around the front of the house. I will dose it up good next week (rain predicted tomorrow) with the vinagar, salt and Original Dawn Dishwashing Concentrate ... cover it over, then spray the top about 2 feet out from the foundation with same mixture. That will keep it free of any type vegetation for a very long time.

Bagged up four bags of pine mulch. Now that is hard work. Scraping the forest floor means removing eight to twelve inches in some places ... and it is wet, very yucky close to the ground. I just do a little section at a time.

Came across two snakes. Almost stepped on one. (near chit myself) Grabbed my snake-slayer and glasses. Once I put on my glasses, I could see coloring better and knew he was a good guy. Both were non-venomous so they continued to live.

I had a fun day just very tired now.

Last task, then we are going to bed. Jennifer and Kevin are sleeping now. They worked hard too! :) Will walk down to the hunting property shortly, dump a magazine into the woodpile - coyotes are back in numbers. I won't see any for a few weeks after I make all that loud racket down there.

Then bedtime! YAY BEDTIME! *laughing*

cinnamongrrl 03-12-2017 02:06 PM

I emptied the closet of my daughter's things and put my own in

Put away heaping mounds of clean laundry. Im not even exaggerating

Went through various boxes along the way; organized them by owner and purged things I no longer need or want

Found my depression glass!!!!

Found the air pump to fill various things around the house.

Started putting boxes that have been holding vigil in the hall in the newly empty spare room closet.

Vacuumed as I went along

Made a good lunch

Did a lot of recycling

Getting stuff done in baby steps...

Tomorrow is moving my bed in my new room, painting the headboard and figuring out the layout of my new room.

As well as vacuuming living room.

Forgot to mention. ..and im rather proud. .I got an HD antenna and a universal remote for my TV. I managed to install and program them. I didn't even have to use tools. .but still so fulfilling :)

Breathless 03-12-2017 04:30 PM

Reading everything that everyone has done.. I feel soooo under accomplished!!! I made it to work, first full day back, and it looks like I am going to make it till the end of shift. :) I am happy with this.
