I planned to do nothing today but ended up knocking out a few chores.
Cooked pork carnitas, beans, rice, and picadillo. Washed and folded two loads of laundry. Cleaned the cat boxes. Cleaned the kitchen. Washed dishes. Took out the trash. Packed lunch and breakfast for tomorrow. Not bad for a lazy day. |

Yesterday, I literally did nothing until 3:30pm it was delicious.
Today, I mowed 2 acres of land. That is all that I could mow because there are so many wild flowers. Weedeated Planted the rosemary Trimmed some of the woody plants Made breakfast and lunch for tomorrow Cleaned the kitchen Changed the cat boxes Took out the trash Walked the land and photographed flowers Made fun travel plans yay! It is almost bed time. |

Laundry, folding and putting/hanging up.
Cleaned out 2 dressers worth of junk and trash. Put 2 big bags of clothes to go out for donation, in the garage. Did the dishwasher, twice. Put my medicine cabinet in order. Threw out old stuff from there. |

I can see the dinning room table and we can sit around it now. The desk is set up. And... We hung a big picture! I made dinner tonight and it was a challenge to remember where things were..lol |

oh boy, what did i accomplish???
Well what started off as a great day came to a halt when i got to work. 9 hours of pure crazy. it will take 5 days to correct what took two days to complete, i did accomplish putting out one fire, but i have more to go, tomorrow is another day... Power walked about a mile and a half at lunch...got to see downtown by foot which was a great break! left work late, got stuck in a major traffic jam, missed my exit so my 15 minute commute was over an hour long (i trust the universe here) took a LONG hot bath with some wonderful essential oils, shaved (including my large toes, because i like 'em smooth) washed and conditioned my hair, exfoliated, walked the dog, vacuumed the place, scrubbed the bathroom, dishes are ready to roll in the dishwasher (i rarely use it) and i have the rugs in the washer. my mom called and put me through a very stressful convo and tried her best guilt trick in the book to make me feel bad about being here, but it did not work, nope it did not. Gotta cuppa half calf and i am going to sit here for a while with my puppy dog. ahhhhh :wine: |

I had a lovely picnic lunch with a friend. Mainly we talked about how much we liked our daughters and each other's daughters. We hugged and decided we were very lucky women. The sandwiches and the beer were good too.

Got dressed for the day (sort of, ;) ).
Had a small breakfast. Got some stuff crossed off my never ending chore list, *lol* :| Practiced the light stretch exercises given to me so my body gets some for of exercise. Spoiled me, for a bit. My nails need some attention, though, so I will give my hands and nails a manicure later today. Talked to my mom by phone earlier. Caught up with my close best friend. Read a few emails from another close friend. Need to check out a few new books, though. And, listening to sets of music on my private playlist... I got some new ear buds, recently. Love the sound capability I get with the new ear buds. : ) |

over the weekend, my teen age helper and I put together a 25' x 3' bed of berries. 6 blueberry plants, 2 red raspberry plants and 2 blackberry plants. He dug the trench, then filled it with the special soil and fertilizer I went and bought, then we planted them and mulched the entire bed. Additionally in other parts of the yard, we planted a lilac bush, a beautiful apricot foxglove, a few gayfeathers, 2 bleeding hearts and several pots of pansies. We cleared out winter debris, threw out yard furniture that has seen its better day, and scrubbed down the kennel.
I also took my grand daughter and daughter to a children's clothing store and bought a helluva lot of clothes for both grand daughters. They should be set now for summer. I am BEAT. But alot got done today. Next weekend, we tackle the garage..its all getting cleared out... |

Yesterday, I moved furniture around and worked on re-organizing my home. I also watched some TV, movies and listened to a lot of music whilst the hauling stuff from room to room was happening. I took out a bag of trash and two bags of recycling.

I trimmed my hair just a skosh, gave my hair a conditioning treatment, saged my house, cussed out the squirrel (lmao), gave myself a pedicure and manicure, I've got supper cooking out in the kitchen, pinched off some frosting on the carrot cake after my manicure dried, and now I am (until I have to go back out to the kitchen to check on the chicken) sitting in my lounge chair, watching it storm outside. But, I can see blue sky too. :)

I had trouble with the big mower so I used the push mower to mow about 3 acres before I hit the wall.
Turns out the sparkplug was the issue with the big mower. I decided that I will give it a complete tune up. Maybe tomorrow. :cigar2: |

About a half hour ago my new washer was delivered and hooked up. My old one died a couple of weeks ago- and I have gone to the laundromat since to wash my clothes and then brought them home to dry them. I do research most times when I make a big purchase- that is why it has been 2 weeks- I wanted to make sure I bought something I was happy with.
Not sure I really accomplished anything given the guy brought it and hooked it up. haha But, I feel like I did, so I am going with it. |
Got up at 9 after going to bed at 3, unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, did the litter box and then sat down to knock out some homework while the rest of the house sleeps.

I worked myself to exhaustion at mom's today. It was 80 degrees then 90 degrees with high humidity. I tried to drink everything at her house including water, juice, tea, and soda.
I mowed Trimmed the trees Trimmed the bushes Weedeated Took out the trash Picked up more trash and threw that out Barbecued ribs, sausage, and veggies I am finally home. Yay! |
