Dallas lost to Atlanta and more injuries plague the Cowboys this game.
Ugh looks like another crap season with unhealthy players. |
Patriots played the night game. Ended up winning 41-16. Score tells me it was an easier win than most have been. Unfortunately, I fell asleep during the 2nd quarter. I did get to see Dion Lewis run back the punt 103 yards for a td tho. It was a much more competitive week with some upsets and nail biters. Again lots of injuries from some brutal hits. It was interesting to watch just one guy sack Ben Roethlisberger. Usually it takes players attached to each of his extremities, one hanging from his neck, a strong wind, and he will still drag them all 5 yards before he goes down. |
The Seahawks might of won Thursday night but they sure paid a terrible price for it in injuries! :football:

Speaking of injuries...
I don't know if anyone has any interest but I posted in the healthcare news and research about Aaron Hernandez and the research with his brain.
I must admit, every time I saw someone tackled yesterday, especially when their head hit the ground, I flinched and really thought about the impact on their brain, in a different way than I had before I read the research. http://www.butchfemmeplanet.com/foru...50#post1180250 |

The 2015 movie Concussion touched on the doctor who brought this to the forefront and how they (NFL) tried to discredit it! There was also something on either ESPN or 60 Minutes as well that covered this subject matter. |
Since Zeke is suspended and we have injured players, I think I am done with nfl. I am also tired of the commissioner Goddell. Till he is gone, nfl is gonna suck.

Redskins play the Saints at 1 pm
AND Packers play the Ravens at 1 pm A lot of channel flipping will be going on! |

My childhood team the Raiders are playing the Patriots. Of course the Raiders suck yet again, lol. With a few exceptions they haven't done much since the early 1980's. Of course the glory years were the 1970s with John Madden, Kenny Stabler & co. :vigil: Should be an easy win for the Pats, lol. For some added interest the game is being played in Mexico City. I think I'll watch.
Edit: Ugh not showing that game here. Oh well. |
Dallas plays at 730 tonight. That's when I can do my shopping because Walmart will clear out. lol

It was a rough day for my Packers!

Patriots did well. Didnt see that game tho. Did get to watch the Vikings and Rams. Very good game. And saw the tail end of the Giants game - that was different. More injuries to key players. Not even asking how the Eagles kicker ended up with a head injury. NFL is beginning to look like the roman gladiators of old. |
GO HAWKS...............Monday Night Football:football:

Vikings game was excellent. Detroit tried hard but it just wasnt Staffords day. Chargers are making their usual mid season run. Cowboys looked horrid out there. Wondering which of the multi-personality Giants team will show up for tonights game. |
Battle of Ohio today. Battle seems like a strong word for these teams.
|
Hawks @ 49ers.;;;;;;GO HAWKS
|
Patriots over Dolphins today. Even though the Dolphins were pretty aggressive, they still lost.
Still not sick of saying that although, if the Pats are in the Superbowl, I concede that they won't win. |
I quit watching nfl. When Goddell is gone let me know.
|
Falcons!!!!!! I am so proud of you. I know after last season it is hard to just show up for any game. Your doing good and I know you will continue.
Fly high my dirty birds |
Patriots did well....even if the Dolphins rush kept Brady on his butt. Well done Falcons....still alive in survival football thanks to you! |
Sea Hawks 24
49-er's 13 (Final score) :cheerleader: GO HAWKS! |

This is the first non-losing season for the Rams since 2006. They were seriously overdue. |
