Dallas lost to Atlanta and more injuries plague the Cowboys this game.

Ugh looks like another crap season with unhealthy players.

Kobi 11-13-2017 06:51 AM

Patriots played the night game. Ended up winning 41-16. Score tells me it was an easier win than most have been. Unfortunately, I fell asleep during the 2nd quarter. I did get to see Dion Lewis run back the punt 103 yards for a td tho.

It was a much more competitive week with some upsets and nail biters. Again lots of injuries from some brutal hits.

It was interesting to watch just one guy sack Ben Roethlisberger. Usually it takes players attached to each of his extremities, one hanging from his neck, a strong wind, and he will still drag them all 5 yards before he goes down.

homoe 11-13-2017 11:04 AM

The Seahawks might of won Thursday night but they sure paid a terrible price for it in injuries! :football:

Speaking of injuries...

I don't know if anyone has any interest but I posted in the healthcare news and research about Aaron Hernandez and the research with his brain.

I must admit, every time I saw someone tackled yesterday, especially when their head hit the ground, I flinched and really thought about the impact on their brain, in a different way than I had before I read the research.

Yes I admit I worry too about brain injuries when I watch a game! I believe Frank Gifford also left his brain for research.
The 2015 movie Concussion touched on the doctor who brought this to the forefront and how they (NFL) tried to discredit it! There was also something on either ESPN or 60 Minutes as well that covered this subject matter.

JDeere 11-17-2017 11:06 PM

Since Zeke is suspended and we have injured players, I think I am done with nfl. I am also tired of the commissioner Goddell. Till he is gone, nfl is gonna suck.

Mopsie 11-19-2017 10:06 AM

Redskins play the Saints at 1 pm

AND

Packers play the Ravens at 1 pm

Thank you, I needed to know the game times. I don't think that I get either game here. Ugh.

When I lived in Atlanta I would listen to Bengals on the internet.

Go Packers!

BullDog 11-19-2017 12:10 PM

My childhood team the Raiders are playing the Patriots. Of course the Raiders suck yet again, lol. With a few exceptions they haven't done much since the early 1980's. Of course the glory years were the 1970s with John Madden, Kenny Stabler & co. :vigil: Should be an easy win for the Pats, lol. For some added interest the game is being played in Mexico City. I think I'll watch.

Edit: Ugh not showing that game here. Oh well.

EnchantedNightDweller 11-19-2017 12:15 PM

Dallas plays at 730 tonight. That's when I can do my shopping because Walmart will clear out. lol

I don't get tired of saying it because I don't get to say it very often. We won, too!

homoe 11-19-2017 09:16 PM

It was a rough day for my Packers!

Kobi 11-20-2017 06:29 AM

Patriots did well. Didnt see that game tho.

Did get to watch the Vikings and Rams. Very good game. And saw the tail end of the Giants game - that was different.

More injuries to key players. Not even asking how the Eagles kicker ended up with a head injury.

NFL is beginning to look like the roman gladiators of old.

homoe 11-20-2017 11:16 AM

GO HAWKS...............Monday Night Football:football:

I changed the damn channel! Gave up on em, then saw the highlughts they won.

Kobi 11-23-2017 06:36 PM

Vikings game was excellent. Detroit tried hard but it just wasnt Staffords day.

Chargers are making their usual mid season run. Cowboys looked horrid out there.

Wondering which of the multi-personality Giants team will show up for tonights game.

Wrang1er 11-26-2017 12:12 PM

Battle of Ohio today. Battle seems like a strong word for these teams.

homoe 11-26-2017 12:15 PM

Hawks @ 49ers.;;;;;;GO HAWKS

Shystonefem 11-26-2017 04:01 PM

Patriots over Dolphins today. Even though the Dolphins were pretty aggressive, they still lost.

Still not sick of saying that although, if the Pats are in the Superbowl, I concede that they won't win.

JDeere 11-26-2017 04:07 PM

I quit watching nfl. When Goddell is gone let me know.

Teddybear 11-26-2017 04:52 PM

Falcons!!!!!! I am so proud of you. I know after last season it is hard to just show up for any game. Your doing good and I know you will continue.

Fly high my dirty birds

Kobi 11-26-2017 06:13 PM

Patriots did well....even if the Dolphins rush kept Brady on his butt.

Well done Falcons....still alive in survival football thanks to you!

Kätzchen 11-26-2017 06:28 PM

Sea Hawks 24
49-er's 13

(Final score)

:cheerleader:

GO HAWKS!

Sorry dee. Both the Saints and Rams are 8-3.

This is the first non-losing season for the Rams since 2006. They were seriously overdue.

Of course I wanted the Saints to win, but the Rams definitely brought it today. Congrats. :)

Football

I love seeing good sportmanship here.

It is hard to watch the Packers these days but a fan never gives up.

Go Packers!

homoe 11-27-2017 10:28 AM

The loss by the Packers was heart breaking............
