I'm staying at a friend's house while construction is supposedly happening in mine (been away three and a half weeks so far). My friend is at a meditation retreat and her 22yr old son was away skiing, due back Sunday or Monday. I fell asleep tonight on the couch in front of the fire and was startled awake at midnight by a stampede of 20-something yr old boys! Ok, it was only two, but they entered like a herd of elephants! Anyway, wish I could go back to sleep now. I'm all jazzed up. And switching from "letting it all hang out" mode, to "I'm the mother here" mode.
