50*F and it's been raining since yesterday, throughout the night and all day long a slow nice rain. We needed rain, our lakes and water supplies are in drought mode already. Water restrictions and such already in place.

Rained all day here in Gulf Coast area. Potential for severe weather tonight. Read a special weather statement a few minutes ago. A storm with hail and some winds is headed this way. The bulletin indicated it may intensify.

I am grumpy about this. I don't intend to sit up half the night nursing weather reports. If it gets bad, the sirens will wake me up. Then the pooch and I will run up the hall and hide out in the larger bathroom. That's the plan. It is a good one! :)
