Friday...I haven't had a decent hike in forever...and come hell or high water (ie rain) I'm going! I have 2 spots in mind.....my eternal favorite place....or another I haven't visited in some time...but was a favorite of mine and my late dog, Matty....it's just that it makes me tearful to go there...and look around for her and not see her there...sigh.....

this might sound corny, but i'm looking forward to being healed enough from back surgery to be able to walk and go back to dance class again. I can't believe how much mobility i took for granted!

Having four days off next week: I'm looking forward to gazelling down to the coast and enjoying the surf, watch for whales, search of treasure (sea shells) or even fly a kite. :stillheart:

My daughter informed me that she joined the German club and one of the perks next summer is a trip to Germany. I think they need, you know, chaperones for that ;).

Oh, I'm looking forward to the promotion of one of my girls to assistant manager. I will get two real days off real soon!

Last week I watched an episode of chopped where they used refri beans for a dessert. I just made a loaf cake using pork and beans. I'm looking forward to asking them what the mystery ingredient is today. I'm bringing it to a BBQ this afternoon.

After reading about people looking forward to meeting up with their loved ones, I'm looking forward to spending time with my wife. Sometimes we get busy ourselves and forget how lucky we are to sit together at dinner, and share our sheets at night.
