Spent most of the day on the phone dealing with hospital mistakes. Fortunately theirs not mine, otherwise it would have taken a long time to get another appointment. I had to book in March to be seen the second week in September last time and I just couldn't bear waiting another 6+ months more before learning whether or not I can go back to work. It's too the point that I just want to know, even if the answer is no because whatever the the case it would have to be better than the frustration of not knowing. Anyhow aside from the time spent dealing with that, I haven't done much else today. I spoke with MysticOceansFL earlier, she's all provisioned, safe. I'm almost afraid to watch the news for fear of what damage Irma might have wrought while I was away, but better to know than avoid it so that's what I'm off to do now.

Did lotsa deep cleaning, praying, laundry washed and hung out on line, more praying, took care of spouse, cleaned & medicated one of the dog's ears that has a yeast infection in it, getting ready to run in town to Wally World for a few things.:hangloose:

This weekend I climbed a 20 foot ladder 4 times. This was the first time that I climbed that high since my knee replacement. Yay!

My mom spotted me just in case.

Today, let's see....

• I moved someone new into my housing program early this morning and was so glad to do so because she has been hard working and homeless for quite some time.
• I did normal work things like intakes and case managing and rent managements.
• I played with my work baby and smiled a lot while doing so.
• I put together a community meal for the women in my program and had a community meeting after the meal to get ready for some big fall events.
• Came home, did animal care routine, and then sipped a much needed glass of wine while writing this post.

Nope, not crazy just determined to stay independent and active. :)

Not a damn thing today, but yesterday I managed to spend myself into the poorhouse...............:giggle:

WHEW! Today I had to actually go in to work after working at home for the last several.

I made a bunch of appointments for anything from the dentist to the HVAC people.
I cooked a TON of food for the week when I got home.
I took out my trash and cleaned out the car.
I got my work inbox to ZERO (which is magic considering that I get about 200 emails per day)
I took a shower a did a pedicure.
I unpacked my suitcases and did the dishes.
I did a load of laundry and ironed.
I talked to my honeybun and 2 girlfriends.
I made a list of ALLLL the shit I'm going to do tomorrow.

And now? I'm having a very good glass of red wine. WEE.

I am currently working on laundry.

I still need to cook some fried chicken tenders and sides.

o.m.g! My sister and i finally got to our destination hours later!!! We got soooo lost and it was sooooo funny! I have never laughed so much in my entire life!! The journey there was the best when we finally managed to land it was almost anticlimatic...When we were coming back I purchased a little momento. I said, "Sis, I wanted you to remember our trip and xxx county..She looked at me rolling her eyes (she was driving) and said.."o.m.g I will never forget this ever!" and we both had a merry laugh in the middle of nowhere...fun guys :)

I have been lazy today.

I did clean the outdoor bbq grill. Then I cooked chicken breasts for my babies and about a dozen hamburgers. I took my neighbor a hamburger and chicken breast. Then I tore up one hamburger and one chicken breast into tiny pieces for each dog. Yelled "hamburger chicken picnic" out the back door and all three dashed inside like their butts were on fire. I laughed like all hell. They seemed to enjoy their food. I am eating two burgers with milk right now.

It is a good day to be lazy. May nap a little later. :)

I got up early to verify if my pool therapy appointments were still valid for the week, which they were, so I went to pool therapy.

After I got home, I went to the farmer's market and bought some fresh ears of corn, some big baking potatoes, peaches and some brown sugar.

Then I picked up my mail and got a special letter and card from Santa! Oooooh, I don't know what I'm gonna do! Caramel sauce and ice cream.....wish list items and Christmas delights!

Today I did my usual morning chores, laundry, and scrubbed half of my spouse's wheelchair ramp. I ran out of deck cleaner and didn't feel like running in town for more since it was already almost 4:30, so I'm going tomorrow. Yesterday when I got off work I took a 3 hour nap and then we went to the beach.

Today I went to the podiatrist, stopped and looked at shoes, went to visit my tarot deck I want, had an iced chai, came home and made some phone calls, cleaned the sink, toilet, and floors in the bathroom, and have been working on some reading I've really been meaning to do and taking notes with incense and candlelight.
