Good Evening wonderful kitchen peeps,
Ugh. Another muggy day here. I am SO over this. Beyond over it. However, by watching the nightly world news it seems I am not in the only state being hit with this ungodly heat and the heat index has been beyond scary. I am counting My blessings for the a/c. Today was a busy and productive day. One filled with change .. all for the good. It ended with being invited to dinner by My Mom and she decided to make homemade pasta noodles. (I am italian). She has not made them in forever and they were oooooh so good.. they just put that boxed pasta to shame. Ok I am off to peruse some more threads. I hope every had a good day.. and is enjoying a peaceful evening. Jake |
done driving for yet another day... as I plop down in a soft chair....... sipping some warm tea, and laying my head bk ,closing my eyes...... can only dream and wonder if there will be a day , i get swept off my feet and walts across the dance floor with the guy of my dreams....... leading the way........ *sigh* |
i guess breakfast is up to me!!! everybody gets 1/2 a grapefruit and 1 c. of All Bran! |

Turns out we both need new glassses, but mine only slightly and his quite a bit more so...so his are ordered and mine are "on hold" for just a bit. It's cooling down and it feels like :bbq: night :cheesy: We've got burgers, BBQ chicken and london broil on the grill, potato salad, fresh local corn on the cob, tossed green salad and icy cold watermelon. Dessert is build your own brownie sundaes....homebaked brownies, vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate sauce, sliced strawberries, whipped cream. :eating: Hope you all had a good day :) I had a productive one...no housework, but plenty of progress on the job, and eye appointments done. Yes it is, she went into early labor lastnight and the hospital was able to stop it.

It's official, I start school on August 30th. After waiting almost an hour and a half in the financial aid dept, I was able to take out a school loan until my financial aid kicks in....I am excited...Now I have to go clothes shopping!!!! Scoote, sorry about your pain.. I hope the shots help you soon... I am exhausted and hot.. work is kicking my butt... its 101 degrees today.. I have all the lights off trying to conserve air conditioning!! lol.. Had chinese by laptop light.. and DVR light of course.. Hope everyone has a great night.. Damon is off tomorrow and Friday YEAH!!! I get 2 nights with him AND part of Saturday and Sunday.. I love it... We are going to the reunion in Little Rock and are so excited!! We werent sure we could afford it but it is coming together... Anyone here going? Its about 1/2 to 2 hours from us so we couldnt pass it up... Hugs to everyone in the kitchen.. I decided to leave coffee bean flavored ice cream for dessert to go along with Scootes spread... I am wanting coffee yet its too hot to drink it hot lol.. Becca |
