Ricki Lake probably has done the best with this. It is so Hollywood glitsy. But it looks like a lot of people like it- but it not really a serious dance program. So did anyone else get the feeling that Chaz wasn't really into it tonight? Or is just ready to go home?

The thing I have a problem with DWTS is also the technique, plus also the music they choose for each of the dances rarely fits in any way at ALL with the dance itself. Not saying that the timing of the music to the steps isn't choreographed, but they are always choosing a modern, oftentimes pop song for more classic ballroom dances. Something that the masses will readily recognize. My last partners' family is in the dance business. They have taught ballroom dancing for decades, and own several studios around the country. A couple of her family members actually go out to CA each season for the show, and get backstage with all the dancers. |
Missed most of the show last night, but went and youtubed Chaz's performance. Definitely better with a slower type of song, but the fluidity is missing. I'd like to see him hang on for at least another week. I'm definitely enjoying Ricki Lake.

I agree that I'd like to see Chaz for one more week but I'm not 100% sure that anyone else in the group right now is worse (since he is at the bottom this week) so it'll be intriguing to see if he sticks around ....... I want him to stick around as much as possible but our votes will only get him so far!

I was all about Carson last night omg he was fantastic.
Ricki is my fav though...wow she is just so eloquent. Those two are my favs. I love Chaz being there and getting as far as he has and i voted for him. I just don't think he can go much longer, the knees being the main reason. He just can't move very much. Not his fault and i admire him getting out there and trying no matter what people said. As one of the judges said...it says a lot about his character. Horray for DWTS!!!!! |
As a hearing imparied person have learned to read body language pretty good,especally peoples faces,I dont think Chaz was in as much pain as he seemed like he was very sad,I know this show was about things that have impacted ones life so remembering his father was really hard on him.

I think that Chaz is doing good... not great. It is about the dance afterall. I am happy that he has been able to stay on for another week... and it's great to see him so determined to do well. I really hope that his knees allow him to improve his skills.
Hands down, my favorites are JR and Ricki. My honey... she's pulling for Hope Solo ;) |
Cher said that if Chaz makes it thru this week, she's coming to the show next week to watch him dance. :clap:
