I actually bought this online a week or so ago, but it just arrived at my Home Depot store today. Cake Boss- Deluxe Nonstick Carbon Steel Bakeware 10 in. x 15 in. Cookie Pan for baking Paleo tortillas and flatbreads on. This is a heavy cookie sheet. Total Price: $9.26. I think I will buy another one before the price goes up.

True dat! It's a good thing I get 'em every couple of weeks, they're my "stress" therapy sessions. :cheesy:

So how is it. I have bought some similar yet over priced bakeware for paleo friendly foods and they have been crap

Jesse 07-20-2016 06:51 PM

So far, I love it. It is a heavy tray because it is made from carbon steel, but I did not want aluminum for cooking my food on. This particular pan has 12 circular impressions for cookies, but the impressions are not deep, and the pan is nonstick. The instructions warn not to use metal utensils on the pan in order to avoid scratching it and ruining the finish. I've only used it for experimenting with making Paleo tortillas and it has worked well. Food doesn't stick. Also, this wasn't advertised for Paleo foods, I just happened to see it for sale at Home Depot's website. I've had one other Cake Boss pan and it worked really well until I loaned it to a friend, who subsequently moved taking my pan with them!

A crapton of groceries.

Glenn 07-21-2016 12:22 PM

I had an overwhelming and unexplainable craving, so since it's beer weather here at 96, I bought 1 quart of Miller High Life beer for $2.13. I don't drink, and I haven't bought a quart of beer in about 10 or 20 years, but I was surprised to discover that the price of a quart is still about the same. (Or Maybe it's me that's still about the same.)

Brooklyn 07-21-2016 03:28 PM

Not a damn thing. I need to work on that.

candy_coated_bitch 07-21-2016 03:38 PM

A bottle of water and an ice cream cone.

Orema 07-21-2016 04:24 PM

Some thank you and sympathy cards from a coworker who makes really nice cards.

Gemme 07-21-2016 06:19 PM

Snacks, a magazine and bananas.

anotherbutch 07-21-2016 07:55 PM

I bought a new truck today!! I am beyond happy. I worked hard for it.. I deserve it. :farmer:

Brooklyn 07-23-2016 02:13 PM

3 pair of cargo shorts
3 color (no pocket) t-shirts
2 6pk hanes ankle socks
Black leather tri-fold wallet (my other one has seen better days)

An A/C Unit
Leather office chair

Then on my way home - I stopped to buy a 12pk of soda and some paper plates - and at the check out counter there was a medium sized bin filled with cat and dog food, dog bones, kitty treats, and kitty litter - the sign read "Whatever you buy from this bin - it is a donation to the Humane Society and SPCA locally" (meaning you buy it and give it to the store clerk and they take the items to the shelters)

I bought the whole bin :)

GeorgiaMa'am 07-23-2016 03:01 PM

Some Band-aids with the Avengers on them, and 6 boxes of BC Powders, all at half price. Pharmacy sale!

Gayandgray 07-23-2016 06:22 PM

Fresh produce at a stand on my way home from the dog kennel.:jester::jester:

candy_coated_bitch 07-23-2016 06:32 PM

It's not what I bought, but what I unintentionally stole from the store. I was thirsty so I opened an iced tea and figured I'd pay for it on the way out. Well, I never ended up paying.

Jesse 07-28-2016 07:26 PM

I bought a new 10" elk bone from my guy on Ebay for Sadie. She's a bit of a size queen when it comes to her elk bones. Lol! She only gnaws them about halfway down in size then she is over it until I saw it in half lengthwise so she can get to the marrow. :dog:

Blade 07-28-2016 09:15 PM

Dog shampoo and ice cream

GeorgiaMa'am 07-28-2016 09:33 PM

3 Kindle books - one of which is It Takes A Village by Hilary Rodham Clinton, which was only $1.99!

randrum 07-29-2016 03:10 PM

Lunch, dog food, and a treat for Ernie.

*Anya* 07-29-2016 03:28 PM

I went to that money suck: Costco.

We needed everything: napkins, clothes detergent, calcium, melatonin, frozen fish fillets, antacid, Toilet paper, Bounce, Lysol, milk, peaches, Swiffer wipes and I don't know what else but it cost almost $200.

Nothing yet--but I think I need to. Now to ponder what I should buy. :king:

C0LLETTE 08-04-2016 03:47 PM

Some people buy a car; some buy a TV; some buy a complete new bedroom set. Me, I buy a Costco bbq chicken; take it home; immediately pull off a drumstick and eat it....and I never have buyer's remorse.

Well, I ended up with ordering 2 new bottles of colognes that I wear --and a throw blanket that has a character I like from one of my favorite movies on it.

vixenagogo 08-04-2016 05:19 PM

I don't know what they cost in Canada but the chicken is about the cheapest thing you can buy at Costco here: $4.99!
