Hello everyone! Tomorrow will be another early morning for me and I suspecting the next day will be an early one as well. Today I ran on about three hours sleep. I am tired, so I know I will get more tonight.

Yep, I did. I retired after 30 years, so it may not be the same as leaving a job and looking for another. I am on my second career, though. I have hear that age can be a negative to some employers. I looks for a job that I would enjoy, not for the money. I was very lucky to get my dream job, I work at a home improvement center.... that wears red vests, not orange:) Just be yourself and dress nice for any interview...I never understand how anyone can show up in jeans and a t-shirt for a job or going to court?:sunglass: |

Hello friends. Another day down. The news is that I am working the next four days 6 am to 2. If anyone knows me they know I am so not a morning person. If you come see me at work, though, you would never know it. Smiles and niceness for everyone.
OCD kicked in today. I can't stand how dirty the store is so during breaks from the online classes I cleaned, cleaned and more cleaned. Didn't even make a dent. I'll whip it into shape! Roomie got me to drink two ounces of moonshine. WOW. |

I volunteered to work Christmas. Being around people is a good thing. I just hope the shift goes quickly because I am so not used to standing all day and my poor feet hurt by the end of the day. Come on holidays and get over with. I hope Santa heard my other (secret) wish. |

I just can't help it , can't stop thinking about the lost of Mike ( JYD) and how , why , and learning of his car accident and just wishing he was still here and ok , I am also wondering how his girl is doing and my thoughts and prayers go out for her as well as Mike , friends and family. I just crosed paths with a new friend here in Buffalo.... and her name is Barbara Henderson lol ..... this is too funny, and awesome at the same time.... i came across her cuz i was searching for some Henderson cousins and there is a barbara henderson around the rochester area whom is a 1st cousin i never met and should be at least 70 i am thinking .... anyways....... im enjoying some down time with my most awesome handsome Mr Leonard :) and wow , its sooo soo dead in here lately , everyone bizzy with holiday stuffs i am guessing. :) |
I guess everyone is busy with the holiday season. Yes Morningstar, it is sad news about Mike. His presence online was so kind, helpful and authentic. I imagine he was much like that in person. Hope the new year brings everyone here much happiness.

afternooners loft dwellers....... and you shy peekers lol well been kinda BZY ... seems like my company asked if i would do this lil 80 mile mini load around the area this morning.... and i still have my load to texas on the truck... sooo ok extra $$ while hanging in Iowa land... why not Ill be leaving Mr Leonard tomorrow for Texas.. * sigh* :( welcome to the loft Sev :) in other news...... I just can not get the thought of Mike being gone... and his girl being on my mind... how she must be doing and holding up, i have not seen any word about her, all i heard so far is she had some injuries but is home and resting .... I can not help it but to think how she must be soo so devastated... and im keeping her in my thoughts :candle: |
