A telephone voicemail message from my deceased partner's ex husband. I had posted a picture of cherry pies I made yesterday and he told me, "Now I am sad." When he called he told me to think back of who used to say that. That was a line she would say when she wanted something she could not have. It actually made me laugh out loud and smile at the memories we both had shared with her. It amazes me how people change our lives, add meaning to it, and memories remain. *Smiles

So many things, life is truly amazing.

It was actually yesterday, but I am still smiling so I figure it counts for today. I received a surprise box filled with all sorts of fun and yummy things from two friends of mine. You know who you are! Thank you both! :)

The cashier at Food Lion....

She was a high school girl; super nice from the get go...about maamed me to death...

As I was leaving, she said something I didnt quite hear, so I asked her what she said....

She was already with another customer but she turned and looked right at me and said "God loves you. Never forget that." I was taken aback and just kind of looked at her. She turned and looked at me and said, " I mean it..."

It was kind of like a hug from the universe. Ive been going through an emotional rough patch and this really helped...even if I am a non practicing/lapsed Catholic...

She may very well have been an angel. I'm there an awful lot and I dont ever remember seeing her before...either way...my mind is more at ease...:bunchflowers:

So much time exactly where I want to be.
