Once upon a time, in the days before the net, a most handsome Butch musician courted me with music. We had known each other for several years. When we first met, the attraction between us was immediate, intense, and powerful. 7 years later we we were single at the same time. In my mailbox one day I found a tape cassette with many songs chosen for my listening.
This song by Joni Mitchell, particularly moved me: I responded by making a tape that I sent back. On it was this song by kd Lang: "Some people come into our lives, Leave footprints in our hearts, And we are never ever the same." ~ source unknown |

Dance Time
So, now, enough with the nostalgia. Time to jump up and dance. Today. I'm starting with this tune, by my fave figure skater. He wrote it as a reflection of the relationship he's had with the media over the years. The person who does RuPaul's music, did the music for Johnny.
