NFL pushes back Packers-Falcons start time on Monday Night Football The Packers and Falcons have a new starting time on Monday Night Football. The NFL pushed back the start of the primetime showdown to 7:50 p.m. CT to accommodate the rescheduling of the matchup between Patriots and Chiefs, which was moved to Monday. The Patriots and Chiefs will kickoff at 6:05 p.m. CT. The Packers and Falcons were scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. CT kickoff. CHECK your local listing......:football: |
Really?! A one day quarantine? Ok, I know what I will be doing tonight but that just ain't right. Yes, I said ain't.

Plow, my friend and unfortunate Patriots fan. I was not a fan of playing football this season, especially outside of a 'bubble,' but here we are. I don't understand the scientific reasoning behind this either; I'm just crossing my fingers. Our practice squad QB is the other person who tested positive and that's significant because he was our Cam in prepping the defense for this game. How can so many people in direct, unprotected contact be cleared to play? The NFL's policy and guidelines are a joke to me.
That being said, I honestly wish we were playing each other full strength. How good are you if you beat a team depleted of its stars? Believe me, I'm not getting ahead of myself here, Belichick is still the mastermind and your defense is not joke. Just saying, as much I very seriously want to beat NE and start the season 4-0, there's not a lot of pride playing a very good Patriots team without Newton and Michel on the field. I think we got lucky with the scheduling for week 4. Good luck tonight! I'm editing this to ask if anyone else has noticed the Patriots tend to draft extremely handsome quarterbacks? Seeing Stidham made me think back to Matt Cassel, Jimmy Garoppolo and, of course, Brady. I don't know their qb draft history but those guys stand out to me and I wonder if that's part of the requirements of the job. |
LOL@unfortunate. Looking forward to the game. We will see what happens. This is a lost year for all and everything should have just been shut down.

Finially a touch down in a game of field goals!
|
Oh geeze the Patriots on their delayed game! I don't even know half the player's names this season....although many were called "dumb ass" tonight.
|
The bears WON tonight's game against Tom Brady..
Thank goodness too because it was flippin' and floppin' and the Bucks ALMOST won....but thanks to Brady's senility we won in the last 30 seconds! hahaha.. HEY TOM....it may be time to retire! :goodluck: |

I've wondered about this stuff...
The black stuff on artificial turf that you sometimes see flying up behind a rolling baseball or sliding player on TV is, for the most part, tiny bits of old recycled tires called crumb rubber infill. ... Crumb rubber was among the first materials used for infill over 20 years ago. |
Bears Games on the Big Screen..............
Time Out Market Chicago,916 W Fulton Market
Chicago West Loop Oct 18 2020-Jan 3 2021 Football season looks quite different this year, but you don't have to miss a game. In lieu of bundling up at Soldier Field, we're showing every game on the big, big screen at Time Out Market Chicago. (We're not playing—it's 32 feet wide by 6 feet tall.) Besides staying warm and cozy inside the socially distanced dining room, guests won't have to wait until halftime to grab a drink at the bar or re-up their food order. Choose from a stacked fried chicken sandwich, loaded hot dogs, a towering plate of nachos or one of the best burgers in town. The best part? Time Out Market Chicago is free and open to the public, so you don't need a reservation to lock in your table....:football: |

Nick Saban tests negative for COVID-19 on Thursday, could he return to coach Saturday?
“He will continue to remain in isolation and receive daily PCR tests,” Allen said. “Should he have three negative PCR tests through the SEC appointed lab, each 24 hours apart, the initial test would be considered a false positive pursuant to SEC protocols and he would be allowed to return.”
Allen said Saban has remained asymptomatic and hasn’t had a fever. But unless Saban tests negative again Friday and Saturday, he will remain sidelined for the game against the Bulldogs. Saban and athletic director Greg Byrne tested positive on Wednesday. The 68-year-old coach has continued to work from home and even been able to relay messages during practice via team managers. Sidebar: IMHO Without Nick there, screaming and pacing up and down the sidelines, it'd just be a game........ |
I am so happy the Bears are playing Sunday.. I am even more happy that even though I am no longer living in Chicago that I have managed to find a way to WATCH them.... :praying:

NBC Sunday Night Football...........

SEATTLE — Sunday's Seattle Seahawks game against the Arizona Cardinals was moved to Sunday Night Football "out of an abundance of caution to ensure that a game would be available for fans." The Seahawks and Cardinals, originally scheduled to play at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, will now play at 5:20 p.m......:football: Check your local listing for your time. Sidebar: The NFL has shifted the Las Vegas game against Tampa Bay out of prime time after several Raiders players have been unable to practice this week because of contact tracing from the coronavirus. The Raiders placed starting right tackle Trent Brown on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday after he tested positive for the coronavirus. The team also sent home the other four starting offensive linemen, left tackle Kolton Miller, guard Denzelle Good, center Rodney Hudson and right guard Gabe Jackson, while officials determine how much contact those players had with Brown. Safety Johnathan Abram also has been unable to practice because of contact tracing. IF this game takes place, its been moved to 1:05 p.m. on Fox. |

in leu of the Bears playing on Monday, I actually watched the Packers v Titans game. I give the Titans major street cred...they played their hearts out all the way to the end of the game. Granted Packers felt they needed to overcompensate for their loss.
Those poor Cowboys.. did they just come and sit? We will sit and wait to see how the bears play on Monday :praying: |
