Why I avoid the checkout line at the market.
What the heck is all of this about? http://brokensatire.typepad.com/phot...d/intouch3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aPdBY.jpg http://www.skeptic.com/podcasts/mons...y-comp-515.jpg http://lovelivegrow.com/wp-content/u...5-684x1024.jpg * Ok, I barely am familiar with this "celebrity" Kim Kardashian, but her hiney is making a HUGE splash in the tabloids. Self checkout is best for me.... http://www.x17online.com/media/image...-butt-huge.jpg |

It's all about shame. Shaming people for having (or being) big asses, for being divorced, for being gay, for not being gay... As you know, the list is endless. The amount of money made from people being ashamed of what they do -- from tabloids to therapy -- is no joke. Edits: Okay, my comments don't address the bat boy stuff, so somebody else is going to have to tell you what that's all about. :goodluck: |

This made me laugh much harder than it should have.

@Orema -
I'm sorry, but I'm too lazy to quote you, Orema, and what you said was really good. So to jump off that thought for a second, I'd just like to add that furthermore, it's about shame for public sport which is far more malevolent in intention - though perhaps not necessarily in effect - than your garden-variety shaming.
I mean, some of the shit out there actually rises to the level of Campaign of Terror, IMO. And oh, how I have grown so tired of seeing actual glee in the beady little eyes of people as they delight in schadenfreude. It's really disheartening. |

Ashley Madison subscribers are adulterers, no question about that. But putting a humorous spin on such a prickly subject may be the way to go.
The passwords frequently used are funny, ridiculous and some just downright raunchy. The common denominator is this. LAZY. http://img01.ibnlive.in/ibnlive/uplo...son-200715.jpg It is a surprise that some partners didn't catch Ashley Madison users sooner, as the passwords are very easy to guess. In more proof that Ashley Madison users aren't exactly tech-savvy, it has been revealed that the most common passwords for the site included predictable choices such as '123456' and 'password'. There are also a lot of weird, sad and creepy passwords that the would-be cheaters would have had to type in regularly to access an inbox, such as 'iloveyou', 'horny' and 'bigd*ck'. A research group cracked the encryption on over 11 million of the passwords, and released the 100 most popular ones. Here are but a few in order of popularity. 1.123456 2. 12345 3. password 4. DEFAULT 5. 123456789 6. p****y and so on..... To see the full list of 100 passwords go here: https://atlas.qz.com/charts/NyL3uhCp http://rs1382.pbsrc.com/albums/ah272...ec60c.gif~c200 |
Apparently, not all the tourists have left yet. Not even gonna ask how they did this.

As some of you know, Rupert Murdoch (Faux news stinky head cheese) has acquired National Geographic magazine. I am quite afraid that their continued attacks on truth and science will once again rear its ugly through this new venue.

You know you are in for it when the doctor says, "You're going to feel a little pinch." I'm not quite sure what hurts more, the 'little pinch' or the ubiquitous "You may experience some discomfort."
If they asked me for advice (doctors) I'd tell them to be more honest, more upfront, just say it. "THIS IS GOING TO BURN, YOU MAY WANT TO BITE ON A PIECE OF WOOD AND CONSIDER TAKING A COUPLE OF SHOTS OF WHISKEY.." http://www.mdjunction.com/components...ns_doctors.gif http://images.sodahead.com/polls/003...ss_xlarge.jpeg Forget going to health care professionals, I'll just take one of these every day. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...xL._SY300_.jpg |
